Please could you tell me how you get the ticker on, i've created one but not sure what to do after copying it?? where do i paste it x:help2:

On the site where you got your ticker, there should be some 'code' that you can copy and paste it into your signature space on here (you can find the option to do this in the 'User CP' menu in the blue bar at the top of the page.

Not sure if you'll have the space to do this at the moment, because new members only get a small allocated signature space. This will increase as you post more.
