So there was nothing in loads of shops. Was really hopeful for dkny or Ted baker but nothing. :(
So these were two from coast. To be honest, they're grand but not amazing...

How disappointing for your day Brona! I love the one with the Purple Top but I agree it's not really got the Wow Factor, your gorgeous body deserves something so much better! X

I'd live the first one without the wrap around. Both really nice but like I say, nothing wow/family wedding about them

Thanks guys. Ya def prefer ones from last day. But still Thurs to go.
If still not happy then I can go further afield but don't want to if I don't have to. Bought the one for my brothers wedding in mullingar I think.
Shur I'll see ..... :D

Serena Serena Serena.... you've created a monster. Went into Tesco to get puff pastry and then saw the Reduction section in fridge and went from there...

Saved €8.09! :D

Also the pizza is a yummy one. 25pp!
I knew it wud be high when I picked it up but said it wud be nice as treat if I had a friend over etc. But I quartered it so just over 6pp each and they're huge!

1377019583034.jpg

I put egg next to it so you cud see how big a quarter is. Loads. Put new cling film over it and back in box and froze so I can eat a quarter of it or still keep as treat when a friends up but at least I'll know how to pp it then. :D

So here's my dinner...

1377019747826.jpg1377019762000.jpg

It was so yum. Tracy I edited your recipe a little.
It was 2 chicken breasts - 290g - 7
Onion, carrots, Swede, water, stock cube - 1
I added cornflour paste and Philly - 3
230g puff pastry - cos that's what fitted over top of my dish - 21
Total - 30pp - 4 portions = 8pp each

I took out some of the water out as wHen I put in the pint and half it was very liquidy. Even then it was bit watery for me so I added up some cornflour mixed into paste with water. And then I started getting inventive so I took out the chicken and veg and put into the dish and then whisked in extra light Philly to juice and then added that over the chicken and veg and put puff pastry on top

I cut puff pastry to fit and put rest in freezer which I can use as base to pizza some day.

It was so yummy. Thanks for recipe Tracy. Something different.
Plus I'm at work tomoro and don't like what's for dinner there so I'll have this tomoro at work and prob dinner at home Thurs nite after giving blood so I won't have to cook. Mite freeze the other portion. Not sure how nice it wud be when taking back out but I'll see... :D

Yummy, looks soo much nicer than mine:)

I usually strain the mixture so it's quite dry before putting it in the dish then blend the remaining stuff leaving some of the chunks then pour a bit in with the mixture then use the rest as gravy. My hubby prefers dry pies that's why I do that. I love pies.

I'm so proud of you Brona! You got yourself some good reductions there, that's exactly what I do with my Pies/Quiches, makes it so much easier when u don't want to eat the whole of something! You'll be taking over as Reductions Queen soon ;-) x

So here's my dinner...

Mmmmmmm Pie! I'm definitely gonna have to try and make a Veggie Version! I miss Pies lol! X

Thanks Tracy. Ya that's a good idea with gravy etc. Id prefer a good bit of juice anyway. Hate dry food! :)

Thanks Serena. Felt so good with myself wandering around picking up bargains! Pity my freezer is so full but just cudnt turn them down! :) I quartered my quiches that I bought last week aswel and then froze them. You're so wise! :)

Well to be honest Serena, I hate 3/4 veg and small bit of chicken. I wudn't have missed the chicken in it to be honest. The filo really makes you feel like you're being bold! :)

And Tracy-def no difference in the taste! Light puff pastry all the way! :)

I might make one with Quorn/Veg or I might just stick to all veg? That's on my To Do List for next week! I think I will make them in individual Crock Pots to help with my (awful) Portion Control. X
