1st week doing Slimming World.

Hi,

I started Slimming World Online on the 05/09/2011. The only thing I've changed is making sauces myself, swapping oil for Fry Light & limiting my butter and cheese in take, other then that me and my family are still eating the same. I've lost 3.1KG since last Monday and that is giving me the buzz to keep at it :). My husband loves his snacks of a night, and I can still snack with him, by eating Mullerlight Toffee Yogurts (that I love!) and maybe a bag of crisps/chocolate, but cause I now know that I can eat crisps and chocolate without having to beat myself up, I don't want them! Anyone else feel the same? I look forward to my weigh-ins, so I guess that is a good sign!! I love the fact that Slimming World has the Flexible Syns, so if I want to have a night out I can without beating myself up the next day. I feel happy now, cause I know I'm doing something to change the way I look, where as before doing this I felt ashamed!! Not anymore, roll on next summer!! :)

im new to sw too and this forum and finding it really good. there are lots of good reciepe ideas on line to keep things interesting.

Hi,

All the reciepes I've cooked since starting this have a lovely, and I have not noticed the difference. I made the Beef Lasagne the other night, and I couldn't taste any difference between SW one and a shop brought one. I have my 2nd weigh-in on Monday and I really hope I do as well as last week. Fingers crossed. x

Welcome to SW, i discovered this great plan in february this year and have lost 3st 7lb (put 3lb back on last week holiday time) Hope to get the 3lb back off by monday Then 7lb to target :) good times.

welcome to the site debs im also new to the site and loving all the inspiration here, im loving the fact i can eat all the things i love in the right quanties i think i knew before but not having a guide didnt help me, i must say since joining here and being on SW im finding that the only thing extra i needed was support and i have found that here. gl for your weightloss and i look forward to reading ur journey xx

Thanks for all your support!! I'm enjoying doing SW, as I don't think I'm missing out on anything, cause you can still have it, without feeling like you've failed!! Have my weigh-in tomorrow - hopefully another 2lb loss and I'll be happy. x

I never use to eat my syns, but now i eat between 5-10 a day, so i dont feel like im loosing out at all. Eat your syns and enjoy :D

Hi all,

I'm still finding SW brilliant - made the Chilli Con Carne last night, syn free and it was lovely. My clothes are getting loose on me, which is a good sign. Can't wait till the dress sizes start going down!! Hope you're all getting on ok?

I'm coming up to my 3rd week now and it has got to the point now where I don't have to sit and check the syns on stuff as I've got into the routine now & know what I can and cannot have. The only hard bit is choosing my daily plan and what I'll use my syns on :8855:!! Good luck with your weight loss. x

Done my weigh-in this morning and only lost 0.5lb :cry:. It's my time of the month so I'm hoping that is the reason why. I feel really gutted :cry:, as I've been so good and haven't slipped once. Oh well, hopefully next week I can make up for it and I suppose, a loss is a loss. :( x
