1st week WI

    Hey everyone, David here.

    I joined weight watchers a couple Tuesday + 1 week ago, this past Tuesday was my first WI

    I lost 3 pounds in my first week and am so excited as I had 3 very bad days being away from home all day at a funeral, wedding and christening each one day after another - so that put a bit of a dent in things.

    I am a self employed photographer so generally dont do too much physical activity during the week I spend monday - friday sat in front of a computer at a home office so really done get any 'regular' exercise. - I also have a gammy hip which means can do too much impact exercise (something that has come on recently) but thats part of the reason for the weight loss.

    This week I have stuck to the program 100% and have even had points left over but not by starving myself. I am actually pretty stuffed most of the time. - since I get up a little later than most I tend to miss breakfast and just grab a banana or something like that - If I do get up early I have sardines on toast for 5 points.

    I am drinking lots more water than I used to - about 4 - 5 pints a day.

    I like - (okay love) pasta so have that pretty much every day with a bag of prawns and come broccoli for around 9 points.

    I also cook a really healthy curry and between Mrs P and myself we have that once a week at 12 - 14 points if we have a pitta bread with it.

    I have high goals, I currently (when I stated) was 240 lbs and want to get down to about 190 lbs - thats a total loss of 3 1/2 stone.

    I have not set a time limit on the loss and dont see this as a diet more of a way of changing what I eat.

    We have 2 young kids and having seen 1 too many people die of a heart attack I have at long last decided to do something about it.

    Anyway, promises that my weekly weigh in reports wont be this long or boring but wanted you to have the background.

    Congrats on the 3lbs! And hope you got as much as you wanted in the last weight in too...
