2 days into attack and I've GAINED weight!!

    I've not cheated and have stuck to the diet to the letter.....including the oatbran. My only dairy is 2 muller light yoghurts a day.

    I'm hoping the reason for gaining is that I had a REALLY bad stomach upset the day before I started and didn't eat anything at all so the morning after when I weighed myself could possibly have been a kind of false reading because of the lack of food. ???

    Would really appreciate any advice!!

    I'd guess that's why it seems like youve put weight on - dont worry about it! If you think about it, your tummy was totally empty(ish) after the tummy ache, so as soon as you eat something it will seem like youve put weight on. You will always have food in ur stomach at various stages of digestion, so you could say that since u had an empty tummy, what the scales said was a false reading. After all, you're not going to have a completely empty stomach when u weigh in again :)

    Open up a diary and post your menus up so we can have a nose at what you are eating/drinking to see if we can see any suspect causes. Mullers ring a bit of an alarm bell - and 2 is quite a lot as they do contain sugar. A lot of us buy the natural yoghurt and add our own sweetener.

    I had a gain on day 2 as well. But I lost it plus a bit more on day 3. Which flavors of yoghurts did you pick up?

    Nice to hear I'm not the only one!!

    I was having the vanilla and toffee yoghurts....nothing with fruit as I know they're strictly forbidden. I've not had any yoghurts though today and am going to go for the fat free natural ones and add some flavourings (ordered the orange and choc ones off the Dukan website).
