Can you not give blood if you've got tattoos Scarlett?
I did a little experiment tonight and weighed myself just before tea and just after tea, I had sticky chicken and noodles, I gained only half a pound from tea like immediately after, I was really interested to see?! I thought it would be more?! X

You can jess but you have to wait 4 months after it, to do with possible infection I think. It's the same if you've had any procedure that breaks the skin as far as I know, I know I had to postpone one after a biopsy last year too. Better safe than sorry I suppose xx

Half a pound is half a pound! It's going in the right direction!! So well done!

Right girls I'm off to bed, watching this what happens in kavos program and going to drift off, watching all these people making idiots of themselves makes me never want to drink again haha!! X

Hey make sure you've eaten something before and maybe havr some juice before you go it wilk help with the faint feeling.

I cant give blood unfortunately as I have a needle phobia, feel faint at the sight of one, I dont even know what blood type I am!

Ooh christie, when it comes to baby times with your future hubby get used to being poked and prodding a lot! The only thing that bothered me was the idea of injecting myself.. I just couldn't do it. Total wimp. Doesn't bother me when people who know what they are doing stab into me though.

Ciara- Hope you're feeling all good now & good on you for giving blood- I couldn't do it, I can't even watch Casualty as I'm so squeamish :eek: But I am determined to get over it and donate one day!

Sammiec and Sammyb- well done on you losses, all in the right direction!

Fran- hope you get the acti fry sorted, hopefully the seller won't drag it out..

I had an exam revision class at uni today and the only thing it taught me was that I'm probably gonna fail :sigh:
But on a more positive note, I've had a couple of red and green days this week and I'm really enjoying them. I feel like mixing it up has encouraged me to stick to plan. Hoping for a decent loss on Weds!

By the way I've still not managed to find any TDMLs! I mean seriously, can they really be that good!??
 
Ah, it usually takes 6 months to find new products down here. I love them because I love normal Turkish delight, and Turkish delight bars. Often if something is new and advertised to flabbers (nickname for SW members in my house) then you are bugg'red trying to find it in stock anywhere. It happened with the Linda Mccartney red onion and rosemary sausages, and low low cheese spread, and when mint mullers came out. Basically most things. But after a few months you end up being able to buy them again. It all depends on what you like though. If TD doesn't bother you I wouldn't be bothered about trying them. They are immense to me though.

My sister had to inject herself I physically would not be able to do that, I think id have to get my mum to do that lol
 
Ooh I don't think I could inject myself either.

Very cold this morning, no snow luckily though. Had a sneaky weigh in peek and its not good which is a pain because I've been good this week. Maybe my bad post blood giving night is showing but ill have hopefully made up for that by tomorrow?! Eek not good
 
Haha ladies I am so squeamish that after reading yesterday's posts re giving blood I had to have a lie down...and fell asleep!

There is snow on the ground here but not enough to close the schools :-( would give my left leg for a snow day this week, I'm pooped!!

WI tonight and I haven't stepped on the scales even once this week! Stuck to plan 100% so hoping for a really good result!! Good luck to anyone else weighing today too :) xxx
