20 somethings

Luckily my phone keeps it on the last post received before I turn off so I dont have to find it lol

I dont know what I want for xmas either, ive asked mum for a slow cooker but oh thinks it would be pointless as I would spend alot on meats then which we cant afford but not everything being cooked in it has to be meat based, maybe I should ask for an actifry instead

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone!

I can't even think about what I am getting people yet, still feels so long away despite what all these xmas adverts are telling me! I am making a few gifts this year as I have gotten into cross stitch to stop me from snacking of an evening so I am keeping busy with those. I always struggle the most with my bf, he is impossible to buy for. He asked me what I wanted for my birthday (19th Dec) and Christmas and I have asked for a bangle and handbag :)

Loving all the Christmas food talk! Love christmas dinner and all the yum food that comes before and after, fran your Christmas food sounds gorgeous! Last year on Boxing Day I weighed 7 pounds up from Christmas morning!! Now that is ALOT of food hahaha, I recall eating a full block of feta cheese whilst cooking Christmas dinner, just slicing cubes and before I knew it it was gone haha. Everyone sounds organised with Christmas, I'm pretty sorted for the girls but as for everyone else I have nothing, girls have their main prezzie sorted with a bike each and a few other bits, they literally have everything under the sun so it's so hard every year to decide what to get! Oh and tonight lily was drawing on her easel and we were practicing numbers and she wrote 1 to 10 all by herself! was very proud as she's been very upset that she's struggled with them! My little star! X

Aww bless her, my niece has problems with letters, sometimes she writes some of them backwards

Its so much for their little heads to take in isn't it! It must be so daunting for them, she looks at a number and il ask her what number it is and if it's a 6, shel say "s" as if she's going to say it and she sort of looks at me with a face that wants reassurance and I say "yes!" And she goes "six!!!!!" She isn't very confident with them but she's getting so much better xx

Oh what a clever poppet! She'll be confident with them in no time :) It is a lot for them to understand because its new numbers and words and ideas and shapes flying in from all directions.

The actifry is good but pricey. Only worth it if it is on offer (or you rob it off your parents)

Ooh jade I like needlepoint. Less keen on cross stitch it feels too clunky for me, but I've done a few tapestries. It's pike colouring in with yarn! There is a rug I want to do... Hmm... Addicted to knitting right now though. What are you planning on making?

They are so cute when they are young, my other niece has been able to count to ten since she was about 14 months old, smart cookie however it took her til she was about 1 and a half to walk and is still a little unsteady sometimes even now shes 2 they are having her feet checked by specialist as she wont walk on her full foot

Night jess x

Hi ladies, WOW that was a LOT of catching up to do!!! I'm just back from a gorgeous day of shopping, EATING, and Michael McIntyre with OH! Perfect. Have had lots of looking slim compliments today which was lovely, and bought shoes for the wedding in 2 weeks which are FAB! They are from TOPSHOP and were meant to be £50 ... But the girl put them in the wrong box and I only paid £35...needless to say I paid and ran haha!!

Also ladies wait until you hear what I've eaten today (bearing in mind yesterday was the first day I ate since Monday due to being poorly) we went to Toby Carvery - 'sensible choice' I hear you think, but a Yorkie and some roasters FELL onto my plate (although i did only manage half of my plateful) ... BUT THEN I accidentally walked into Krispy Kreme, and have scoffed THREE donuts over the course of the day..............

I'm not even sorry, I'm just so happy to back to my usual, able to eat self!!! Plus weekly syns will more than cover it! Haha, someone send the wagon round to me bright and early tomorrow, cos I will e getting straight on that bad boy!!

Here are my fabulous shoes for the wedding :-D xxxx

6 must be a tricky number! I remember my dad getting me to make a 6th Wedding Anniversary card for my mum and the inside is full of what look like balloons but were actually my many attempts at writing '6'! My mum still has it somewhere! That would've been May when I was in Reception so I must have struggled.

Oh my goodness I do have to be quick here! Fran - wish I could say the same about my SW subscription - although my mum pays for it bless her heart! I have been dawdling this year but have decided that 2013 is gonna be my year to get to my goal!

Jessikah I just looked at YOUR stats and nearly passed out! 11.5st!!! Holy hell girl I dont even have any appropriate words for that... wow! That is just... incredible!

Ooh sexy shoes! And your legs are lovely *jealous* so glad you had a nice day. You've deserved it after this week! And you are right, back on it tomorrow and you'll be fine.

Emily that is so cute. My parents have never been big on their anniversary. They only got married to get a mortgage as it was the only way you could get a joint one then. How romantic eh?! They are still together after over 30 years.

Ooh steph lucky you having your mum pay! It is good you have your focus back. Jess is.amazing the biggest thing is it is staying off. A lady in my group lost 9 stone for her wedding. She is now back to get it all back off again this time it is for her. She's so positive it is great! I know she'll get there but it reminds me how easy it can come back. She did have 2 more kids in that time too.

Ahh cheers Fran :-D although I have to say my legs are my least flattering feature...black tights and stilt like heals have a lot to answer for!!! My legs are the only part of me NOT losing weight it feels...I have never been able to buy boots that fit over my calfs :-( gawd hark at my sob story...what I really mean is thank you for the compliment! Have just weighed myself and even with a belly full of grub I'm 2.5lbs down so hopefully that will keep up! Xxx

Camz, I totally feel your large calf pain! Boots are a nightmare and I love boots - managed to find a FANTASTIC pair of wide calfed flat brown boots in New Look a few weeks ago so snapped them up... couldnt afford them at all but knew there was no chance they would be still available let alone in my size by the time I have money!

Fran - yeah I know I am lucky having my mamma pay, she does alot to help me, shes my rock, I am very fortunate! I would pay myself if I had a job :( woe is me lmao!

Aww Jess, that sounds so cute with your little one learning her numbers

CH - the beauty of the slow cooker is you can pretty much put anything in and the cheap meats works best so it's a very cheap way to make a meal and you can do so many things with it. Mine is just a regular size but I get between 4 and 6 portions out of each batch so I freeze the leftovers ready for a day when I have less time. The stuff I made yesterday would have worked out at under £1 a portion so it goes a long way plus it makes your home smell lovely whilst it cooks :) Hope all goes well with your Niece

Camz - looking good!!!

I have the same problems with boots, I would love some knee highs but they just don't fit so that will be something I get in the sales for next year when then WILL fit!

Fran - you'll get the 15's this week I am sure of it! You and Jess have such amazing stats, it's great for me, as I do struggle as I tend to self sabotage (sp?) though don't know why, to see it works and to keep at it and eventually I will get there xx

Morning lassies!

Camz I'm wowing at your pic, you may not like your legs but I certainly do! :p And the shoes are gorgeous, you look amazing! Glad you had a fab time yesterday, was Michael really good? I love him! He's hilarious! All I hear about is those Krispy Kreme donuts?! Are they really that amazing? They look really tasty but I'm not as a massive donut fan, people are forever posting photos of them on Facebook haha. What happened to the day when people just posted pics of them and friends and things, not Krispy Kreme donuts haha! Hope you are all okay this morning! I can't see anyone's stats cos I'm on my phone and haven't used this on my laptop which is abit poo! I'm working so hard this week to get under target so it gives me abit of leeway for Thursdays night out and most likely Fridays hungover day where il eat anything I find to relieve me of the hangover haha!! Plus I wanna feel really good in my dress, not even sure which one I'm wearing yet, I have a choice of 3 and you ladies can help me pick, il post a pic of me in each of the dresses nearer Thursday and you can decide :p I trust your judgement! X

Morning girls! Still in Peterborough at the moment, currently en route to the grandmas for breakfast. Think we are having bacon rolls so will just take the fat off! Yesterday was really good, mikes auntie put on the most amazing spread and I enjoyed every bite! Ate my weigh in cheese (there was wensleydale with cranberry so couldn't resist!) Oops!

Thank you Jess (and everyone else!) I love the shoes but think I am going to have very sore feet (any tips??) also I've shrunk from a size 5 to a size 4!! I'm quite chuffed!

Michael McIntyre was good, but I was a bit disappointed (and OH thought he was DREADFUL!) there were a few bits that really made me laugh, but it wasn't his best stuff by any means! Never mind, we had a gorgeous day anyway!

I'm still in bed, just about to get up and spend the day doing school work :-( got a busy week this week and next with observations and the likes! Lovely! So lots of hard work for me today! No doubt I will popping on here throughout the day to keep me sane mind! Xx
