20 somethings

Jenna I lasted half a day when I though "**** this" and ate a banana. A BANANA! that's the extent of my naughtiness. You can have it but it all has units. It's what i imagine ww is like. bloody awful! I have eaten so much less today just by doing the normal plan!

To be honest the kid's first christmas is more for the parents, the kid's don't have a clue. Nate didn't have chocolate last year because I wanted him to be older (he was 9 months) but this year he has loads! for all three I got santa marshmallows, a tiny smarties chick (have you seen them, well cute!), a tiny lindt bear, an aero tree, a bag of chocolate coins and mum got 2 chocolate santas with little chocolate tree decorations and said the santas are for the girls and nate can have the decorations. the kids are going to be going nuts! I tried to be good and not get him loads like I did last year, but I think I've still got him too much. I might do what I did last year - if he can't unwrap them all in two sessions (one on xmas day, one on boxing day) then the rest get saved for his birthday. I am not wrapping the paper I got him though. I didn't realise there was 22m of the stuff! I am not sure if he will get it this year. he did like the santa at toddlers though.

you've let no one down hun, but drinking and being sad isn't a good mix so go drink a pint of water and pop yourself to bed. maybe tomorrow you can get your nan some flowers and if she has a burial plot take them there, if she has an urn at home pop them in a vase near by, if they are scattered take them there, or to a favourite spot of hers. That way you can think of her and do something nice that won't leave you with a painful head in the morning :) but you haven't let anyone down, we all get tipsy, remember Sammy's amusing drunk post the other night? I'm sure I've seen a couple from Jenna too. I plan on getting most merry on Tuesday with our giant bottle of bubbles. But none of us have let anyone down. Now shoo yourself to bed lady.

Thanks hun x
yep def don't remember posting this but wish I'd heeded this advice last night though! Feel a bit rough today! On the plus side (if there is one) I randomly weighed myself just now and was the lowest I've ever remembered being- 11st9. Prob severe dehydration but hey ho...
Was hoping to take flowers to the crem today but due to the weather they still haven't been able to bury nans ashes with grandads so still a bit in limbo with having a place to go for her. It was her house I went to to talk to her but now that's gone think it all got a bit on top of me last night- I'm sure you noticed haha! Anyway Thanks for being lovely, I feel as awful as I deserve today!

You don't deserve to feel awful at all missus, if you can't get sozzled at Christmas when can you. Also, feeling sad especially at this time of year is normal too....it's the time when people consciously get together with family so naturally you'll miss someone you're close to.

Fab news on the lowest weight lol!

I'm half a pound heavier than last weeks weigh in but as I devoured 8 choc biscuits yday we'll not worry about it too much, no syns today in the hope I can pull a maintain for tomorrow...doubtful but I'll die trying.

Don't worry Scarlett, it happens to everyone, especially this time of year when people are thinking about family a lot. Hope you don't feel rough for too long hun!

If she had a favourite place to go you could take them there, or pop them with your grandad, I'm sure she'll be with him in spirit :)

Yay about the lowest weight. Mine seems to be going up and up and up. :(

Parents are back today, in about half an hour, or a bit longer given how many diversions there are with the floods. I did tell them to bring a boat.

Ciara, the lemon ones are ok, but the NY cheesecake ones are not good. blurgh. I favour the greek ones if I want something lemony but I've a multipack to get through still.

Jenna, good luck with syn free-ness. :)

Fran, lemon ones were nicer, but I did like that cheesecake-y taste of both kinds.

My granny has been feeling better in hospital, but slipped when she was getting out of bed today. She has no bruises or anything but is complaining that her hip hurts. Hope she hasn't done too much damage, she was really hoping to come out soon

Made dinner for me and little brother. Not a big fan of pork but that was what was in the fridge so had a search for some recipes and got a nice honey mustard one off Slimming Eats which was tasty and comes out at 2 syns each. Picky eater brother ate most of it so it must be nice, although he likes pork anyway. It's great being at home because my Dad loves cooking so he's got all those ingredients I wouldn't have myself for things like this, like cider vinegar, cloves, and honey and mustard actually ha. I'm slowly building up a stock of things like that however! Very slowly!

Oh dear, I hope she is ok. Hopefully she'll still get home for Christmas :)

Ah I'd give you ours if you were closer :p loving the shape 0% yogurts at the moment. I made the pepper pasta out of the magazine and had defrosted raspberries and a strawberry shape yogurt, was lovely. It is handy when you have the store cupboard stuff already for spices it is worth getting cheap glass jars from IKEA or somewhere and buying the spices and dried herbs from the market or independent health food shop, where they why it out, even better is if you have any Indian supermarkets near by. That's where we get our rice too. Works out much cheaper than supermarkets.

How old is your brother? Mine is coming tomorrow or Monday (if the trains are running) and he is a pain in the arse IF he knows what is in it. So I chop veg up small and he never knows. Muahaha. He has no idea how often he has eaten mushrooms and courgettes...

My brother is 16 so only a baby haha. He has an uncanny ability to remove all veg and eat around them. At the end of his meal he has a little pile at the side of his plate ha

Hope your granny is ok, Ciara.

Pleased to report a STS this morning...YAY! Now to try and be good whenever possible between now and New Year. The real challenges will be Christmas dinner, Boxing day dinner and then out for drinks, out for drinks on the 27th and then NYE. If I can get through those and be good the rest of the time I don't mind.
