Hey get back in here lady!! Lol x

Aww scarlet have they taken effect yet? Did you manage to stick to plan. How old is the kids' brother?

Oh dear skinnylegs :( how'd you manage that. I trapped my sciatic nerve the other week. I was ok after just a few days but it was so grim I dunno how people with long term back pain cope! Hope you feel better soon.

Lol Emily! Did he come out looking very pale? Haha. I did green today too. Made the mighty mushypea curry. I have seen a sw suitable recipe for Thai chicken soup I think, I will check it and post it for you :) Yum celeriac. It is one of my favourite winter vegetables. Even pre sw I used to ***** about jamie oliver and his oil drowning! Hope you have a nice evening all the same.

Muzza I hope WI went well hun :)

Jo, bottom back in the room!

Trying to decide whether to have a peanut butter kitkat (13 syns) or a twirl (11.5 syns) or something less synny.

OMG.. what a synful fab weekend.. I'd back on track today though thank god! I won't get my one stone award this week me thinks but I could next week! Lunch is
made for work tomoro, tuna pasta salad.. I hope it will be okay tomoro as it wasn't very nice tonight!

Having very low syn treats today to try and combat the boldness from paddys weekend : 1.5 syn moo ice cream, 2 syn option and 3.5 syn alpen light bar..

That would be great, Fran! I ended up having bubble and squeak patties with my LM sausages - we had leftover celeriac and mash so I chucked in some broccoli and an egg. Yum yum yum!

Aunt Flo is on her way over and it's killing me! Not due till Fri but I've been having cramps since yesterday. Owwww. I hope it doesn't bugger up WI :grumble:.

Aww skinny bad backs are horrible, hope it feels better soon xx

Emily that's hillarious! Nice you had the morning off together though! Did he say anything about it when he came out the changing room? Nice to get have dinner cooked, would it be worth saving a hex b for olive oil and if its not ex virgin just tweaking it?

Still feel pretty poo.. Had a headache all day and coughing my lungs up. Think it is less constricted than it was before so hope the antib's are working. The brother is 12, almost 13 and not too much hard work yet, there's still time lol. He is poorly though bless him and will be off tomorrow as well at least.

Fran yes I have stuck to plan! 2 days back on plan and feeling really positive. Only tweak was the baked bean lasagne ended up as a baked bean pasta bake cos silly me didn't bother to check we had lasagne sheets before planning it! Ended up being massive so got tomorrow's lunch sorted too! Ate all the cheesy topping though as it was my second hex a!
Only syns today so far was a little fromage frais pot, think its 4 syns, don't have any chocolate in to use the rest of them though! Boohoo! Might make an options into chocolate yogurt for a sweet kick. Om nom.

How is everyone else today?

Thai Green Chicken Soup

I've cut the syns down in this soup by using FryLight and yogurt instead of oil and coconut milk. The Thai green curry paste contains syns (1 syn per tbsp) so you could always very the amount of this you use and alter the syns accordingly.

Serves 8
1.5 syns per portion
15 minutes prep, 50 minutes cook

Ingredients:
FryLight
1 onion, finely chopped
500g pack skinless chicken thigh fillets, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely sliced
12 tbsps Thai green curry paste (12 syns)
2 Muller Greek style coconut yogurts (1 syn) or the Muller Light coconut with chocolate sprinkles (syn free - and you won't taste the chocolate!)
1¾ ltrs chicken stock
5 kaffir lime leaves
2 tbsp fish sauce (nam pla)
1 bunch spring onions, the white sliced on the diagonal and the green finely chopped
280g pack fine green beans, trimmed and halved
150g pack bamboo shoots
juice 2 limes, plus wedges to serve
small bunch basil

Method:
Using FryLight, fry the onion for 3 mins to soften. Add the chicken and garlic, and cook until the chicken changes colour.
Add the curry paste, stock, lime leaves and fish sauce, then simmer for 12 mins. Add the chopped onion tops, green beans and bamboo shoots and cook for 4-6 mins, until the beans are just tender.
Meanwhile, put the lime juice and basil in a narrow jug and blitz with a hand blender to make a smooth green paste. Pour into the soup with the sliced spring onion and yogurt and heat through. Serve with lime wedges.

You could just halve the quantities to make 4 servings, I dunno why she has done it for 8.

Half off ladies, which is better than on I guess, :) just opened a box of maltesers and eaten nearly half! Oh dear, I'm hiding them immediately x

Well done for half off muzza! As for malteasers- step away from the box! Give them to a friend so you can't finish them off today!

Bleugh! Roll on Thursday eve! Day off friday and need the lie in, feel pants :(

Todays food-

D- quorn spag bol making it a green day. Will split second A on cheese to sprinkle on lunch and dinner x

Thanks scarlett.. so annoyed with myself for eating them. Back on it now. Although I have a busy weekend as out for my bday I am going to stick to plan in week as much as possible.

Your meal plan looks good :)

Congratulations on the loss Muzza, anything off is a bonus :)

I was meant to WI today but forgot so will do it tomorrow...I think now I am doing this from home I might do two WI a week because going from one Tuesday to the next feels like ages so I might do Tuesday and Saturday to keep me motivated x

Well done on the loss muzza. Maltesers are evil. If I hate a little bag I want a whole box, so well done on stopping. I would have powered through. You are such a busy bee. I have zero social life!

Star, how about an official weigh in once a week and an unofficial check mid week. Because your weight will naturally fluctuate throughout the week doing two a week might throw you off course with false losses/gains.

My poorly boy has sticky eyes :( off to the drs at 5:20. I spoke to a de over the phone, but I said I would still like to bring him in, because it is his eyes. Poor little grotmella. He had me up 5 times last night between midnight and half 7 this morning, and twice before then! Poor monkey threw up twice yesterday too.

Thank you ladies, you are right, half off is better than nothing. Just need to be good this week. Yeah i have loads planned up in till mid april. But then I should be good to get back on it.. It's going to be fun but hard.

Yeah Star I would agree with fran and do two weigh ins but only one proper one cos the scales change so much throughout the week.

ohh poor nate Fran, and poor you for not getting much sleep.Hope he gets better soon.

Oh bless him Fran poor sausage :( hope you get on ok at docs. Has he needed eye drops before? If they give you the choice ask for drops rather than ointment as its so much easier to do on a wriggly toddler I find! Best way I've discovered is to get them to lay down and close their eyes then place a drop on the inner corner of eyelids, as soon as eyes are opened it runs into the eye and they don't freak out from seeing the bottle come towards their eyes :) sneaky sneaky!
How are you Fran, other than tired cos of all the wake ups?

I want maltesers now..might have to stop and get some on my way home!

Now I want malteasers!!! darn it!!!

Well done on the loss muzza.

Poor Nate hope u get sorted at the docs Hun.

Off work again today still recovering from this flu like thing I've had back tomorrow tho I think. Gunna still go to WI tho but not stay to group x
