2014 weight loss challenge

Oh I didn't think about the no FB rule (have it on another site I use from when I pregnant too! DOH!)

Not expecting a loss this week. It didn't go to plan, very hard to be strict on a diet with totm from hell with cramps and headaches and hubby on hols for a week so we kept going out and eating out.

Bloating big time as well so I will be lucky to get a standstill I reckon.

As of Monday I will be 100% following Slim Fast again as hubby will be back to work so I will be able to keep myself busy with housework, painting (balcony seriously needs it), tidying, sorting, crochet, pilates and so on. So fingers crossed I can get a loss a week tomorrow.

Not really lol,still working on it,waiting on my 5:2 book to arrive and hopefully that will give me a bit of motivation! How are you getting on?

Fingers crossed for the loss next week! Totm is a *****,I got mine with a vengeance today while I was doing overtime at work so it was pretty miserable! Had planned to juice today and tomorrow but ended up having a subway!

Hi everyone pleased I've lost 1.5 so that's 26.5 lbs down only 1.5 and that's 2stone I'm over the moon :) I've got 6 weeks till my holiday and my mini goal was to loose 2 stone which is really close now . Would love to loose 1lb a week to give me a bit more flexibility while I'm away ! Good luck everyone x

Going into hiding for a little - well have been in hiding anyway. Cant get motivated losing the will to shrink. :(Xxxx

I'm wondering if 5:2 wd be a good route for me for life after target - if I ever get there! I'll just have more calories on the 2 fast days - which won't be hard to manage!

I've been on Kay's salad challenge this week which has helped me to focus - I've had too many syns and carbs for the challenge rules tho' - even so I've had my best week for ages and grateful to Kay for organising the challenge - I've signed up for it next week too so I'm hoping I'll be able to stick to the rules!!
 
Yeah it think you are right upndown,it will just take time to get used to everything,definitely experiencing a bit of guilt this morning about it,esp as the scales are up(although down slightly for the week).i guess I can't be rational all the time and sometimes it will bother me,but today will hopefully have lots of water involved in it to try and flush me out etc

Try and focus on the positives - ur scales are down over the week - if that happens over the month - u'll be well chuffed and waistbands will be looser!!

How about I make two lists - one of people who post regularly to use for updating here, the other to keep safe in case they want to be added back to the list? What you think?

She has done fab,def a real inspiration.im trying my first fast day today,since I had a lie in and worst case scenario I can have a nap if I'm hungry later,rather than starting it during a work day and failing miserable.think the good thing about it is you are only ever a day away from normalish eating,which is a bit of a comfort.i don't want to count calories on my non fast days otherwise I may as well calorie count full stop so il have to try and make sensible choices.i have two diet bets back to back which should motivate me too hopefully,rather than winning one then eating loads between that and the next one,I won't have that option this time,so fingers crossed! I think when we try challenges etc,even if we don't stick to the rules I think it's good to see the bigger picture and compare how well we did with it compared with if we had never done the challenge in the first place if you know what I mean Not had a chance to look at kays thread,is the challenge to eat a certain amount of veg per day or something?

Another trim sounds good to me, when I did the last one I only removed those with 0 loss that hadn't posted as I wasn't too sure on rest.

I bet the list ends up about 10-15 people! lol

It's going ok,I went into m and s which was a bit torturous as I wanted to buy everything lol.got some meals from their count on us range so they will be handy for their fast days,luckily it's quite warm today so I'm thirstier more than anything,the real challenge will be when I'm doing a fast day when I'm working,don't think my boss will let me go for a nap when I'm hungry lol
 
Well I am back on the diet for 6 weeks now. Have up mycals and am doing much better making sure I eat treatsmost day so I don’t feel like I’m missing outon things. Hope everyone is doing ok and has a good week. l also managed to get into the 15 stones so very happy been years since I saw that number on the scales.
