2018; The Year Of Me & Losing 1.5st!


Evening MiniMins,

I'm a newbie here :) but have followed Slimming World on and off since 2015. I've had a lot of success with it so know that it works for me but I'm a self-confessed comfort eater and reach for the sweet treats when I'm feeling down.

I lost 2st in 2015 following the birth of my second daughter and managed to get down to my initial target weight of 9st 7lbs in June 2016. Due to a massive change in circumstances towards the end of last year (and it is something I'm still struggling with emotionally), I've ended up gaining 1st.

However, I'm determined to make 2018 the year I invest in myself and it starts right here. I joined Slimming World online on Monday night and as I won't be attending groups, I wanted to join here for the support that I'll be missing out on in group.
