3 stone in 6 months?

    Hey :) I was wondering if its a likely or unlikely goal to lose 3 stone in 6 months?
    I lost alot of Weight for my wedding last Sept, since I have gained 2 stone due to an AI honeymoon, going out for meals and Xmas! Regretting it now but its done! I have booked a holiday to go back to where I got married in Aug, I am desperate to lose the 2 stone and then an extra one, I am 100% determined to stick to the diet and use my syns sensibly
    I lost most of my weight last year through vlcd and I really don't want to go there again!
    So was wondering am I aiming too high with that goal??

    Oh really wow well done you that's Brill!! I have hope now!!! So determined, god if I could actually get 4 off for it I would be the happiest person in the world!! But ill stick with 3 for now lol are U doing EE? X

    It's definitely possible. I lost just over 3st between August and dec. you will need to be dedicated but you have a set goal to aim for. Good luck! :)

    I agree with the other posters - if you stick strictly to plan there's no reason why you couldn't lost around 7lbs a month. In 6 months you'd be there, or at least as near as dammit so - good luck!

    Ahh thankyou! I really am determined!! Im going to be weighing on sat mornings, I only started Monday so its gonna be a 5 day week this week, im not expecting anything major as I was eating healthily before hand. Wish me luck :) xx

    1lb off . initially dissapointed, I know I need 1.7 per week to get to goal, I need to be patient, that's going to be the hardest part for me, im used to big losses on vlcds but I dont wanna go through that!
    Need to stay positive! Only been 5 days, that half might of come off in the next 2 days x

    You said you were eating healthily before hand so your body is less likely to have a big first week water loss. That way you know that the 1lb is pretty much all fat! Also I often find that a slightly slower week is succeeded by a better loss. You will find your own pattern. 1lb is a good start!! X

    Thanks :) I know every week is different so gonna keep going :)
    I get weighed at boots, tbh I wonder how reliable they are! Sometimes they tell me ive gained 2lb when its impossible too when im eating healthy?! I was 11.3 last fri, I was 11.5 on Mon, so I had gained 2lb in 2 days by eating healthy hmm?!
    I do have scales at home but there U reliable too always give me different readings!
    Any recommendations for good accurate scales?? I know sw ones are best to use but I can't get to meetings anymore due to work!! X

    Hi hun x I definitely think we're all different with regards 2 the speed of our weight loss, I'm struggling at the moment moving from 9st11, the less I hv to lose the harder it's getting :( I definitely think 2st is do'able in the time u hv, if ur a "quick loser" then I dnt c why u can't achieve 3?     How often are you weighing at boots? I do it from home too and just have a pair of salter scales but if you are weighing in in boots then al sorts of things can affect it from the time of day and what you are wearing plus if you are weighing in mid week then your weight will fluctuate daily so try and keep it weekly. Hark at me the daily weigher bit if you don't have scales at home the temptation would be reduced!!

    thanks hun that is true! I am a slow loser, this is why I always did vlcd, but im sticking with it and hoping for the best! U never know eh :p will pop over to ur diary xx

    hey! Yep that's true, ive just been and bought some Salter ones, reviews where very good on them! Got home, I weighed 1lv heavier than boots LOL so have I lost a lb , havnt I? Who knows lol
    Gonna go off this weight on my new scales now and weigh the same time each week every morn in my Underwear! Xx

    Hi, I have simliar goals! I want to lose 3 stone in 6 months as my hubby is away on tour of duty with the military!

    I think it is realistic, it still leaves me a load to go! Like you I have previously done VLCD so its a lot harder seeing smaller numbers, but I'm enjoying eating foods and able to feed me and the children the same foods! This weekend I asked what they would like and my ds (11) said Mum your sw chilli it's the best :)!!

    So I'm here to subscribe :)

    I lost three stone in six months so it most definitely cN be done, I started the end of last January and six months to the day later I lost exactly three stone, seven months on from that I'm still at target. I only ever did ee, and used every one of my 15 syns each day, I did take up running to help speed things along too. Some weeks I would lose, 1lb, others I would gain for no reason at all but these would always be followed by a big loss the following week. The key is to keep plodding on and the losses will quickly add up. If you have a bad day, get over it and get back on track, keep coming on here reading the posts to keep you motivated. You can do it, must stay focused on the end prize! X x
