3rd weigh in

Hello everyone today was my third weigh in lost 3lbs, was expecting more, but happy. My size 18 clothes are becoming loose (cant spell) wont go on a shopping spree just yet, I went to Next for the fun of it and tried on size 16 clothes and Hurray:party0011: i can fit into a size 16 skirt, the trousers, i give that another couple of weeks. I haven't done any exercise since I started so this week is the week. Thanks everyone for your encouragement on the forum. Lets keep on motivating each other.:D

Well done hun. I know 3lbs may be lower then you wanted, but when you next go into the supermarket go to the butter section and take a look at what 3lbs acutally looks like. You will realise it is A LOT.

Isn't it fab when the dress sizes drop. I was in a 16-18 and am now in a 14. I'm slowly taking the extra stone and a bit off to try and get into a 12, but am not too stressed anymore because I feel fit and healthy. Well done again.
Thanks Shazpaz for the encouragement, I'm at home today going to start on my taebo video. Look forward to next weeks weigh in.:D
Well done Sola!

Its a great boost to get into a smaller size isn't it :)

I was a 20-22 in clothes at my heaviest.. could only shop in Evans :( after my 1st stint on LT I could fit comfortably into 18's and could shop in Next etc, was delighted.. the 18's are becoming tight now and all attempts to lose weight recently have failed so am back on LT..

Good luck

Thanks bluwkd, lets keep each other motivated we can loose this weight and maintain. What is your desired dress size?
Well done sola, I think seeing the dress size drop is much more incentive than the scales dropping - although i love that as well!!

Shaz is right 3lbs is a hell of a lot and when you think thats its all fat, I think its a brill loss!

Hiya Bluwkd, your 18's will soon be hanging on you. My ideal size is a 12 - cant remember ever being that as an adult?! I started as 16/18 - prob more an 18 mind you and most of my clothes are now loose, but likewise not going on a shopping spree till am at least a 14!

Am feeling bitty fed up today, its also prob in my head but I swear am hungry! Roll on lunch time til I ge tmy flap jack - of the thrills!
Hey well done sola. Isnt it great to be able to try clothes on in a smaller size, I think that is really motivating. For me it doesnt even need to be new clothes as I have a wardrobe full of clothes that are too small for me! Also they are in different sizes. Its amazing to find that a pair of trousers that were way too tight a couple of weeks ago are now a bit loose - I love that feeling. If I am really getting tempted to eat at home I usually go upstairs and try some thing on - it usually works!!
Anyway good luck for this week :)

Getting into smaller clothes was the real high of this diet for me too....I have every size under the sun (from 22 to 12 ) so it was brill to get be able to get into a smaller size every few weeks.......better feeling that chocolate anytime!!!
Well done Sola, keep up the good work. I can't wait to drop a size, actually i have gone from 18 to 16 on top and my size 18 pants are hanging off but 16 doesn't feel quite comfortable yet! God i used to be a 10 to 12!! 1 day soon !! x

I have to admit I got more of a buzz as I got into smaller clothes, it meant so much more than seeing the number on the scales go down.

Well done on getting into Next clothing........must be a fab feeling

Hiya, your very welcome..

I dont like the idea of giving myself a massive target to start with so I would be thrilled to lose @2stone and get into a 14/16 for now.. Looking back I haven't been that size for many years  dont think i'll ever be the 'ideal' weight for my height (5' 6) People who know my weight (there aren't many) say I dont look it.. if that makes any sense, but I certainly feel it.. just want to be healthy and feel good about myself really.. oh, and really hope my boobs go down a size or three :)

good luck, sounds like you're off to a great start :)
