Step2 810kcal 9 stone off so far!!

I used to live in Sutherland about 12 years ago, nice area. I started 2nd January last year at 128.8kg, and I started 3rd February 2014 at 108.6kg, weigh in was last night and I lost 5.8kg first week. How good is this diet. It wont be long until you reach goal, I bet you are itching to get to goal. Keep up the good work you are looking and I bet feeling great.
 
Hi, How long did it take you to loose all the weight in total so far? I have about 9 stone to loose and I am on day 1 so have a long way to go yet. Also how was your skin with loosing the weight? I am quite worried about having loose skin. You are doing amazing by the way!
 
God it's a small world really isn't it!! That's a brilliant loss week 1 isn't it! What's your goal? One of my friends weighs in at 10 stone and I keep looking at her thinking, go I've lost you in weigh lol!! It's an amazing diet! Hoping to become a consultant! My sister is thinking of starting the diet over there too! :)
 
Hi Lizzie! I've been on plan since last April so 10 months so far. I lost 15lbs in first week and have been losing in average 3-4lbs a week since then. I've been doing step 2 the whole way with the odd sole source week to boost the loss! I was exactly the same you know re loose skin!! Initially I really panicked when I saw how loose it was but just like my consultant kept telling me, give it time and it will come in and it has!! She told me skin takes longer to shrink and she was right! Ye I've still got bat wings but they are getting smaller by the day! I was really worried about my stomach and having a "roll" but that's near enough gone! Xx
 
Thats good news then. You have done so well. What was your starting weight? That is a really big loss you had in your first week. You must feel so amazing. I can only hope to do as good as you have done.
 
I was 22st 1lb when I started!! Now just approaching 12st! Sounds really cheesy but I've found it quite straight forward to be honest. I needed a diet which controlled my portions as they were huge before! A little nervous coming off plan but my rep is going to help me. What's your starting weight? The first week is hell but if u can get through that, you won't be hungry x
 
I was weighed last night and my starting weight is 18 stone 3 pounds which is the heaviest I have ever been. I did the diet over a year ago now and I did manage to loose over 3 stone so I know I can do. Just need to stick with it and maintain when I eventually loose the weight. Really hoping for a good first week loss as I know that will keep me going. You just need to remember you can't go back to eating normally like you did before which is where I made the mistake.
 
My down fall was pasta and bread so gonna try and avoid as much as possible when Im finished and gonna have to wAtch my portion sizes! It's weird but I don't actually recognised myself as myself now of that makes sense! It's really strange when I look in the mirror. I used to be really blonde too so complete change. I'm determined not to have to do this diet again so gonna push to get the last bit off and keep it off.
 
Well you have come such a long way that I am sure even when you are no longer on the CD you will feel different. Your stomach will be smaller so you won't feel hungry like before anyway. I can not wait until I have lost the weight. Day 2 for me now :).
 
Ye my stomach has definitely shrunk... Just new to tell my brain that now as it keeps trying to add extra veg to step 2 meals and then I feel ill! Only lost 1lb today at weigh in but my rep says it's coz I'm going to the gym on sole source. She's recompense not to go to gym whilst on SS now as I'm getting quite dizzy with it! It's been working for me without going to the gym so far so gonna stop gym for another month til I'm at goal then I'll kick butt lol! How ru getting on today?x
 
A pound is still a loss. MY CD said it isn't a good idea to excercise while on SS as its so low in calories that your body does not have enough energy to use. I had another good day yesterday. On to day 3 now :)

Hi there!! Thanks for your message!! I've still got a bit to go but feeling good. The thing that keeps me going now is fitting into normal clothes! Have spent a fortune so far and keep having to bag up the big clothes every month for the charity shop! I was a size 26 and can now fit into a 12 (just!!). Quite happy being a 12 but feel I need to get to goal which is 10 and a half stone and I'm just over 12 stone at the mo. Considering going into step 3 this week as I'm starting to pick at silly food I'm not allowed so need more variety! What step ru on? How long have you been on it?x

Incredible! I hope I can achieve the same. I am really envious, wish I had started sooner. I know its a strange question, but do you still feel like you? if you know what I mean?

Did you tell people you were doing it? Did you get any negative reactions? What have you done in terms of socialising etc?

I didn't feel like me for a few months and still look in the mirror now and don't know if I like what I see but I'll get used to it! I didn't tell any of my friends who live down south, only friends I work with and close family. Parents questioned the diet at the start which I expected as it's extreme but now it's worked it's had the reverse effect! Mums now telling me to stop but determined to get to goal! I was /am extremely strict when going out with friends, I didn't drink and made sure I was the driver! I just kept telling myself it's not forever and I don't need drink to have a good time! I quite enjoyed going out and coming home feeling fresh as a daisy!! I even go out for meals with friends and just sit with a sofa water, it really doesn't bother me. From the start I've never hidden away from food as I knew i would crave it more so I still cooked for the family and just had some cucumber sliced at the side incase I was tempted to pick!!x
 
Do you still feel big or do you not like to see yourself small? We are never happy with ourselves are we? Alot of my friends are saying if I lose weight i wont be like me and I wont be as nice and friendly??! I think its cos fat people are stereotypically jolly etc.

You sound like you were extremely committed to the plan. When did you actually start it?

In my head I'm still a size 26 and find it difficult to see or believe I'm now a size 12!! I used to look at my friends who are a size 12 and think I'll never get that slim but here I am and I still see myself as a lot bigger than them lol!! Definitely like the slimmer me though, will never ever go big again!

Gosh, 10 months isnt long at all is it, thats what I keep telling myself, I have so much weight to lose, but I know this isn't forever. Yeah, or course your loss is going to decrease as you get slimmer, you have far far less to lose but a loss is a loss! I am starting TODAY! I feel nervous, excited, apprehensive, just all the emotions going on. My start weight, as of today is 20st 8lbs. do you know, it makes me sick to admit to it!!

Do you feel amazing going into shops and picking up a size 12? I know I would, and not have people in River Island and Topshop look at you as if you have got lost!!
