Hey gang!!

HUGE congrats to all you losers (in the best possible sense of the word!!) Been reading through the posts and am highly impressed with everyone's results this week.

I can't believe I've only been 'off' the forum for a few days- it's felt like FOREVER and really hammered home how much I rely on you guys for support! I've had a few dark 'nobody would ever know if I binge ate a family bucket of KFC' moments but fortunately got through them. Made me realise how tough it must be to 'go it alone' without a support network like this. SOooooo a renewed and fervent thank you for all your advice, help and love over the last few weeks!

I've been in a rare old tizwaz this week. The guy I REALLY (but secretly) like at work sent me a text last night saying I make him feel happy and he thinks I'm lovely etc. He said he is ending things with his girlf of 4 years!!! I don't really know how to take all this...it was totally out of the blue (I'm definitely NOT the kind of girl to try and grab another girl's man!) and although I'm happy it's all a bit confusing and scary. In addition TWO ex boyfriends got in touch today asking to meet up. Clearly this weight loss/new confidence malarky is paying dividends with the opposite sex!! I know it sounds bizarre but I'm really nervous about getting with someone. A) I'm so body-conscious and B) How on EARTH would I explain LT to a new fella without sounding like a nutter?!

Sorry- I know this is all a bit off-topic but I value you guys so much!! It's the fact that I KNOW you lot understand what it's like being on LT and being overweight etc...

If anyone can help my befuddled head please do!!

Loads of love

What a lovely predicament to be in! You go you sexual temptress!

Honestly? I'd be a tad weary of the 'ending with the girlfriend after 4 years' guy. Something doesn't ring true or right about that. Could be a player. It's a tough one sweetie, you have to go with your gut instincts.

My opinion is that EXs are EXs for a good reason - They were never bloody good enough in the first place! So I would stay clear if I was you.

You'll have the pick of whoever you want very soon. You can be choosey! Don't go for a 'been there, done that' bloke. You deserve the best of the best, premier league. You don't have to explain LT to anyone but if you must then explain exactly what it is and why you are doing it. If they are decent, they'll understand.

X

Way to go determined girl - good things are happening to you. don't try to think too deeply about it and try to go with the flow. You're in no way responsible for this guys break up with his girlfreind. That's his decision. You are obviously giving out uber confident vibes with your new emerging shape - enjoy it it must be a fantastic feeling:flirt2:

Well hello hun, you are so my long lost twin haha! Im totally with you on the whole scared to be with someone else and how to explain it. I have to say im so lucky ive been friends wit a guy for ages( only texted and talked on the bus every few months) we were both in relationships then we split up with our partners within 2 weeks of eachother not knowing wat the other had done. now i have to be honest never seen him in "dat" way before but just been out with him an we kissed an all ill say is oh my god. he's totally with me on the lt and is so nice he's always complimenting me. This is the kind of guy you wait for not men in relationships who are "thinking" about leaving their girlfriend and definitely NOT EXS.

The right guy will understand. The right guy will make you forget about your insecurities wen your with him. Don't take the next best thing we've done that our whole lifes until now.

Hello!!!

Glad to see you back :)

They all sound a little bit troublesome to be honest - your ex's are ex for a reason! & if the guy from work is "thinking" about leaving his girlfriend he sounds like trouble! I know what you mean about explaining LT to men; I don't have a problem with new people, but, in a date situation I'd be a bit worried about saying it - my Mother told me to never acknowledge my insecurities around men I'm interested in & it sort of stuck with me... But in reality, there shouldn't be any problem with telling someone about LT! It doesn't really impact them, does it? Just means they have to be more creative with date suggestions!

Sounds like you have your pick of the men, wait for some that are more worth your time!! :)

Nothing is better for the ego than a little male interest. You have an abundance of it just now!! Shine on the guy coming out of a long relationship. He will be too vulnerable, too on the rebound etc etc. Your new found confidence is really pulling em in'!
