A little yay and I'm going away for 5 days ...

Firstly had a little weigh in (naughty as shouldn't till tuesday) but ive lost 2.5lbs upto now this week and if i loose anything over 1lb before my weigh in I'll be down into the 11 stones :D

And I'm going away (only to a caravan with the kids) for 5 days,

what do you guys do when you go away?

I'm not sure if we'll be 'eating out' as theres cooking facilities in the caravan... im just worried about being out for the day and getting the kids a takeout dinner nd me being caught out.

I don't want to have a 'break at all, i want to carry on through the 5 days but am unsure how im going to stay 100% :confused:
 
You can do it, I had the same worry about being away the other week for work and having to attend dinners. I managed really well, stuck to 3 packs a day but opted for meat/chicken & veg for dinner. The feeling of sticking to plan while away is way better than the disapointment of not! Good luck and let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed on getting to the 11's in the next few days - you must feel a difference now? :)
 
Take extra bars for emergencies. The S&S bars aren't any higher in carbs than the packs and whilst you are supposed to only have 1 per day that's for nutritional reasons not because of ketosis. The odd extra bar is better than going off plan. Many people find it very difficult to get back on track if they go off plan and as you're doing well it will be better of you stay on plan if you can. I'm out shopping today and have 2 bars with me :)

I really want to stay 100% ... I've always bailed out during diets and when i started 2 weeks ago I had no confidence in myself that I would get past the first day, but i did! I wanted to have lost a stone for my sons party mid june so if i cheat on holiday then im just letting myself down aren't i??

I am feeling a difference a big one, and its spurring me on to keep on track!

Thankyou, thats really good to know, obviously im not gonna go eating extra bars daily now, but i have multivitamin tablets and its nice to know i can eat a bar if i 'need' to rather than mess up!

Only thing thats making me sad is we are going to the seaside and i absolutly LOVE fish and chips by the sea... we only go once a year.

Maybe when i get to target and have done refeed me and DH can go for a day out alone and I can have it then!

No one batted an eyelid, works well with choc, hazel, vanilla and cafe latte flavour!

I love fish n chips, especially rock n chips... Mmmm
I know after my next diet stint I will be indulging in pizza and also fish n chips -not in the same week!

Il be going for a minibreak in july. Planning on taking packs with me. Pretty compact to take then can enjoy a nice brekkie of scrambled eggs or an evening protein meal.

I dont drink coffee at all and always make my shakes in a blender with ice! So i may struggle lol.
 
I have been away in a caravan for 4 days for our anniversary and managed 100%. It was hard with the kids having pizza and fish and chips but I just did the same as I do at home. Porridge for brekkie, soup or shake for lunch, protein meal and veg for dinner and bar and tea at supper time. When we went out for the day I had some grilled chicken pieces and lots of water and was fine x
