    I have bought some 'Kallo Organic Low salt vegetable stock cubes' - is it ok to have 1 of these a day

    Nutrition values on back of the pack per 100ml made to stock are:

    Energy: 10 cal
    Protein; 0.3g
    Carb: 0.7g (of which sugar) 0.1g
    fat: 0.7g (of which sat fat) 0.4g
    fibre: 0.2g

    Marigold boullion values for 250ml stock/5g (1 tspn) are as follows:
    Energy: 12 cal
    Protein; 0.5g
    Carb: 1.5g (of which sugar) 0.4g
    fat: 0.4g (of which sat fat) 0.2g
    fibre: 0.04g
    sodium: 0.09 (less if the low salt variety)

    Are your values based on 1 tspn (5g) of stock?

    If so, it would seem yours is even better than the marigold boullion everyone has been using as an unofficial alternative to the official savoury drink
