a quick question re counting syns

Hello All, if I'm cooking a meal for 2 people that say for example uses 2tablespoons of tom puree, do I count half of the syn amount as I'll be halving what's made between 2 people or do I syn the full amount I add when making it? Does that make sense? Lol

you don't syn tomato puree.
and only syn what you will eat, so cooking for two, half the syns.
