Stupid Question - Probably!

Hi

I'm thinking of doing Weight Watchers but on my own & having read various articles/forums including on here it seems that the old Pro Points system would definitely suit me the best, however now here comes the stupid question!

If I am making a meal completely from scratch does every single ingredient I use come out of the points allowance? For example Spag Bol using Quorn mince which I would make as follows:-

Quorn mince
Onion
Garlic - all fried

Then tomato puree & tinned tomatoes.

Served with the spaghetti & some grated cheese

So do I have to count the oil, onions, garlic, Quorn mince, tomato puree, tinned tomatoes, spaghetti & grated cheese.

Thanks xx

hiya,

yes you would have to point everything. Once you've done it though, keep a record and you don't have to do it again. When I did points many years ago I had a spreadsheet with all my favorite meals. I just added meals as I had them, and in a couple of weeks I had pretty much everything I would cook

Some of the foods you mention may not have a points value (eg tomato puree, garlic, onion etc.) But double check as it's been years since I've done WW.
