A really silly question (sorry!!)

Yummy Mummy! xx
So, I'm into my first week of JUDDD and so far so good. However, due to my shifts and things I find it quite hard to fit in a DD properly.

After reading about it on here I was thinking about doing my DD from 8pm-8pm every other day. I know that as long as you have a DD in a 24hr period it's fine but I'm a but worries that the plan won't work properly (don't ask me why i think I am just being ridiculous!!!!).

I just really want to make this work so I thought that between 8pm-8pm I will have SF shakes and plenty of water then at least I know I have a meal to look forward to on an evening.

What do you all think? X

I'm doing that. I was doing 5 pm - 5pm but have just changed to 8pm - 8 pm. It will work. It's the 24 hours that works. It doesn't matter when it starts and ends.

If you do a normal dd you are effectively fasting about 36 hours counting the sleep time the first night and the second. If you had a last meal at 6 pm then had your DD the next day and then your UD started the following morning its much longer than 24 hours. ( 36 if you got up early and had breakfast at 6 the day after but it could be later) I don't think there is any benefit to fasting that long so I just do the straight 24. I have a sleep in mine too so it's easier. I eat a meal at 4 pm then fast until the following 5 pm.

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm down my DD 8-8 at the moment so have got a SF shake and a yoghurt for work today then will have some dinner after 8pm tonight xx
