needs to get a life
Tomorrow (wednesday 6th march) will be first anniversary of me joining slimming world. I still remember my first weigh in. 21 stone and 9 lbs. I was easily the biggest person in the room. It's one thing being the fattest person in a room of people, but to still be the fattest person in a room full of people at a fat club, well that's a kicker.
My life has changed so much in that one year. I have learnt so much about my body and nutrition, about exercise and a tiny bit about self control. I do genuinely feel like a different person.
The person I have most to thank is the slimming world consultant who planted the idea into my head by letting me know that a diet existed in which you can eat pie, chips, beans and still lose weight.
8 1/2 stone gone, and maintained for four weeks. Enjoying my food
