Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

i think you're lovely, even when you are cross!

Love

I really hope you get it sorted soon x

Abz - Have a good rant love. It's good for you. I had the boilerman out 5 times in all before they fixed it so I do understand. By the end I was hopping mad! Better mad than eating that's my motto! x

ha. usually i'm mad and eating but i seem to be curbing it. as expected yesterday's miraculous weight loss was a scales blip and four of them are back on... but that's still going down. hopefully by the end of the week i'll only be showing a 1 or 2 lbs gain over the last three weeks, which given my insane bout of eating isn't too bad... would love to have a loss of course but a gain of a 1 or 2 isn't bad...

I'm feeling HUNGRY at the moment cos it's cold x

well, we have another boiler man coming this afternoon. third time lucky i guess. i'm assuming this time they'll have to change a part... we'll see. thomas still isn't going to work and it's snowing again. that's an entire week of pay he's lost. we can't afford to lose hundreds of pounds at the moment so it's really quite worrying...

I still think Thomas should be paid as it's not his fault, maybe he could talk to HR or something? Even half pay would be better than nothing.

love

morning guys. hr? what hr... this company really will take what they can get, even if they are reputable. thing is, we don't know, they may get something, but i highly doubt it. by asking them to ring in instead of travel in, clocking in and clocking out, i reckon they are getting out of paying anything at all. he doesn't get any sick pay until after a week and that's statutory, so why on earth would he get paid for snow days?

i have had to cancel this weeks, and posssibly next week's too, because thomas will be paid this week, but not next week, so we need all the pennies we can get as my salary has already gone into paying the mortgage :( we'll manage. but i can't justify the cost of cd.

in the past i have always had a cup of tea when wanting to eat to stave off the craving. i might start doing this again. have had two slices of toast and a cuppa for brekkie just now. off out this afternoon, will have a jacket potato for lunch later on and something healthy for tea. not sure what yet. but we are so skint that i can't afford to eat much in any case!!

well i lay awake last night worrying about not losing weight. i lost it a bit last night. i wasn't good, let's just say that, but the scales don't show a gain this morning. the fear factor is back in place. my dress fitting is in around four months. so i really, really need to get thin by then. the race is on!! no more self-sabotage!!

gutted that i can't be doing cd right now though. three stone in four months wouldn't be a worry then, i don't think it's really attainable without it, but we'll see how we go...

Oh Abz, these are worrying times for you but I am sure things will look up. Cal counting is working great for me and at least it costs nothing! I find myself making things from scratch too which TBH is cheaper as well.

Hope you cheer up as the day wears on.

Love and Hugs

i almost always cook from scratch barb. i'm not a jars and cans person, although given that netto is closeby and i'm so skint, i may just become one for the next week or two. potatoes, pasta and tomatoes. yummy :) hee.

You'll get through it Abz - and don't worry about the weight, you have time and it will come off, you want it too badly not to. I found when doing WW that making a big pot of veggie soup (with just veg and cracked pepper to season) was a great filler - and cheap!

Sounds good to me Minz - soup is fab in this weather x
