is all coming together slowly but surely,, just try and remember to enjoy your day tho

after all that i've been adding up and we still need to save a bloody grand... it just doesn't get easier does it?

I totally feel for you, hun. Weddings are both expensive and stressful to organise. Haha, who'd get married, eh? But you'll be fine, it'll all come together. At least you're being generous and giving out wedding favours, we were going to skip that! Hehe!

Don't fret. It will all get sorted :)

You seem to be getting there slowly and hooray for the mega savings so far. :) xx

well i've found a rather nice thomson holiday in kos for 10 days that would do for our honeymoon. it doesn't leave until the wednesday though so we'd have a couple of days twiddling our thumbs at home. so will have to see what the travel agents have to offer when we go. but it's a nice fallback.

more expensive than we would like, but all inclusive so wouldn't have to worry about anything else while we were there unless we wanted to.

ha. yeah. except for all that lying in bed waiting for the night to turn up :D

why do you want tomorrow to turn up quicker? i just don't want to be at work any more!!

argh. my potential honeymoon just went up by £300, taking it firmly over our budget... i thought they were supposed to get cheaper as they got closer!! ha. gutted!!

yup. well i want to either get us both away for 10 days all inclusive for under 2k or a lot less than that if it isn't all inclusive. i'm sure we'll find something fabulous. really i'd rather spend about £800 for us both to go somewhere. last minute deals here we come!!

ha. well thomson does deals six weeks before lift off. so i have a couple of weeks to wait before i can start looking properly really. i may pop in one weekday when i'm off and see what they can offer :)

Hope you're feeling a bit better now Abz. I know you don't want to but I would consider the mortgage holiday for the sake of the stress that you seem to have put yourself under. On a 32 year mortgage it is a drop in the ocean - promise!

Re the favours, I was bridesmaid to my friend who made her own buying small premade boxes and M&S indiviually wrapped chocolates from a belgian selection, added some beautiful silk material, bought cheaply then all tied in ribbon. They were made well in advance for low cost and looked beautiful :D

Perhaps you can ask the government if you can claim on their expenses Abz - I sure they wouldn't notice one teensi little honeymoon!!!!!!!
