Acid, Heartburn etc

Hey,

Day 12 of TFR..

The wife is suffering terribly from acid/heartburn most of the time.

Are we allowed to take anything?

i wouldn't think so but dont quote me on that.
surely if its that bad she should take something though whether allowed or not.
best bet is to give LT a ring x

hi Emma,
does she like peppermint tea, some say it can settle the stomach and relieve heartburn. Hope it doesn't last. Did she try something new this week?

Zantac - fine for LL so should also be fine for LT. One small tablet will work for about 12 hours. Takes up to 30 mins to kick in so it's not instant like Rennies etc but they often have tons of sugar and are almost as bad as sweets so Zantac is much better with LT. Available at chemists and also most supermarkets etc, no prescription needed. Also available as the generic version - called ranitidine.

i suffer with this too.. i was told if it carries on then i could take something but i cant remeber what it was zanttac does ring a bell tho.... i find having a cup of peppermint tea tends to help and lots of water lol
