Activity points

Black, yeah i just googled the equations again i found those numbers lol i dont know where i got mine from, must have just been someone rounding up./

Jodi unless you use the online tracker when you subscribe its the only way of working them out. However i never use my AP and instead measure the calories i have burned on the tread mill instead

Is that esource? I shall have a look at subscribing.

Cheers :D

i have tested the equation against loads of different scenarios on my activity slider that you get eventually in class. Its never been wrong :) x

I would say it's accurate. You will only be doing hgh intensity for short bursts. No-one could do high intensity for 80 minutes I shouldn't think. I would also say, based on cals it's about right. At least they can be earned. I don't, just put them away for emergencies!

Poeple could do high intensity longer than just a short burst, probably not 80 mins it would be a mixture of medium and high but it all depends on how fit you are.
I've been going the gym 3/4 times a week for 3 years, its crazy how much I can do now considering when I started I was puffed out after 15 mins on a crosstrainer! haha

yeah i can do about an hour of running, not jogging, proper running, its getting the motivation to actually do it thats the problem lol

Yeah I can too. But the fitter you are, the less intensity it is. When I started jogging for 10 minutes would have been high intensity, and would have killed me. But the very fact that I am now fitter m,eans that running for an hur is no longer really high intensity any more. I'm not that fast. I usually do 10k in around 55 minutes. But I would deffo count it as medium. I think the fitter you are the less intensity ist takes, the less cals and APs it takes to do the same exercise.

i only calculate ap's when i dont know how many calories i've burned, if im using the treadmill it tells me the cals burned so i dont calculate AP's lol

I had a ww leader of 15 years she told us you cant count AP untl you have made a certain amount of steps? Cant remember what she said?
