Hi everyone.

Ive been doing lt now for 3 weeks and have been ok - very tired but ok. Its my 3rd weigh in today.

I have recently been diagnosed with ME and have got to make changes to my lifestyles etc to manage it. A big part of the problem is my bodies ability to manage energy levels.

Since started LT i have noticed that my symptoms have been getting worse!!!

I didnt tell my pharmacist before starting and I didnt have a diagnosis etc at the time.

I really really want to lose weight but feel that LT may no longer be suitable for me!

Any advice ladies?

It's hard to say because you have a medical condition and I don't know the ins and outs of it.
What I would do is be honest with your pharmacist. Tell them you were worried you wouldn't be allowed to do LT and are desperate to lose weight. I can't imagine that it should stop you....BUT...in the short term LT does make you tired and lethargic...which could fit in with your condition's symptoms.
What I would say is that after about 3 weeks I had loads more energy and felt the best I can remember.

Talk to your pharmacist and see what they say- if LT isn't right for you then there may be other diets...your health always needs to come first hun

Hope it goes ok

Be honest hun, you may do more damage in the long run...I don't want to put a dampner on your good intentions but this 100% TFR is probaly not a good idea with ME. Don't want to upset you and you know your body best but if this persists you really need to talk to your pharmacist. Maybe the maintenance is an idea for u? xxxx Feel better soon

Hey hun I think honesty is the best policy with your pharmacist and take it from there... hope it all goes well. xxx

Hun are you seeing a specialist for ME? Maybe have a chat with your doctor if you are concerned. It is definatly a good idea to get a professional medical opinion on this hun. Your health is the most important thing here.

Best of luck

I think you should check this out with your doctor as he is the best authority to say if you can continue or not. xx

Hi
I have a thyroid condition which is under controll and to be honest I hesitated about telling the pharmacist but fessed up in the first visit. Actually it turned out fine and I was able to start as long as things were under controll and I am really hoping that it will help with increased energy and offset other problems associated with obesity.give your doc a quick ring and at least know for sure so your mind is at peace. They may have some really good ideas for you that will help remotivate you or may even think Lipo is a good idea! After all it is prescribed by docs
Whatever you decide it will be the best decision for you and there are lots of alternatives...just look at the number on this website!!
good luck josiej x
