Hello I am returning to this site after loosing and gaining lots of times over. I feel this is it I am almost 15 st and have got to do something. I feel like its got to be drastic becuase I can't be doing with a lb or 2lb a week. I wanted advice from you lovely people. Do you feel that the support of lighter life is worth the money or is cambridge just as good. I am constantly battling with myself that I should just be happy with the weight I am but I can't be and hate it. Any advise would be really appreciated.
Hello there Dani,
So sorry to hear your despair. I think you can safely say that we have all been where you are

, and it ain't a pretty place.
I am doing "All about w8" at the moment. It seems to suit me and is very flexible to my requirements. You can do online, with online support or you can go to classes if there are any in your area.
I am doing the "50/50" programme which means I have two packs and eat a low carb meal from a large list which includes proteins, fruits, veg, nuts, pulses, grains, condiments, good oils. I also have three snacks per day, and can have treats if I want - wine (2 glasses per week), diet cola (one a day), 3 squares of dark chocolate, sugar-free gum in moderation.
Not only is it less expensive than paying for four packs a day, it means I can eat out, drink at social events, and have a bit of chocolate if I fancy it, without guilt.
I was nearly seventeen stone when I started three months ago, now am nearly fourteen. I am well pleased. I suggest you have a look at the different VLCDs around - there are many, LL and CD have been around longer than most, and LL also includes counselling.
However, whatever you decide to do, I am pleased that you have found the Minis community because you are amongst friends here, and you will quickly learn that you are not alone with your desperate feelings about your weight, there are loads of us (men and women) who constantly struggle to get to a healthy weight and conquer those food demons.
Welcome to Minis!
