Good afternoon my lovelies. I am just looking for some advice if anyone can give me it!

So I've been ill for the past 2 days with a suspected ear infection in both ears :( going to the doctors today for antibiotics or whatever they will give me! My OH has convinced me I can't carry on doing CD whilst I'm ill so I dont know what to do! I don't want to pile loads of weight on if I'm sick for a week.

Can anyone advise me what sort of things I should eat? Like what food are you allowed on the higher plans and I'll try and stick to that. All I've had so far is a chicken panini yesterday and some fruit juice..

    Thanks in advance :)

When you are fighting an infection your body will need more calories as it revs up metabolism to produce a fever etc (which is a normal and good process). By limiting your calories you can risk affecting your bodies ability to fight this infection... and the risk is too great where ear infections are concerned (because severe ones can cause all sorts of problems in some cases).

I would ring your CDC to arrange to go up a couple of plans for the duration of the antibiotics plus a few days at least (to ensure full recovery) as the body is still working even though you might start "feeling" better after a few days of antibiotics. I know people have posted lists of the 1200 plan foods before and I'm sure someone will again.

Remember 1200 is still a low calorie level so weight loss should still happen.

    Take care

Try to keep away from anything with high carbs, you could have lean chicken breast, tuna etc. Don't give in its not worth it - I know.
