Alternative to Quark?

Hi all, I'm not a cheese lover, a lot of recipes ask for Quark. A friend recently made me the chocolate mouse with it and left a very sour note. Is there a syn free alternative? Any help would be appreciated - good luck to you all on your journey xx

Quark is rotten! Leaves a horrible oul after taste :yuk: the only thing you could use as an alternative is Philadelphia and use it as your HE

I use Philadelphia as my hex. I have tried really hard to make myself like Quark as its syn free but it's just vile z

I ahvent tried using Quark in any sweet cooking but for savoury I found it too stodgey and sour, so I go for creme fraiche, must smoother and creamier without being so heavier and bitter
