Amazing Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken!

    I just made this and it is sooooo delicious :) 3 1/2 syns per serving but so yummy and so filling.

    Slow Cooker Honey and Mustard Chicken
    Serves 4. 3 1/2 syns per portion or 14 syns for the whole lot

    4 chicken breasts (or diced chicken if you prefer)
    tin chick peas
    Bottle English Provender Less that 2% fat honey and mustard dressing
    Any other superfree veg you want to chuck in - I used mushrooms, onions, carrots and sweetcorn

    Really simple one this - chuck everything in the slow cooker, give it a quick stir, stick the lid on, turn it on and leave it to cook for 6-8 hours (depending on your slow cooker).

    Result is a gorgeous sweet sticky rich chicken dinner. I had mine with some free rice, but reckon it would be just as good with potatoes or more veg or whatever you fancy really! Very definitely worth the 3 1/2 syns, and I have 3 more portions to eat over the next couple of days! And more to the point so bloomin' easy :cool:

    Bought mine from my Asda yesterday so you should be ok :)

    Do you know if this could be done just in the oven on a low heat? I don't have a slow cooker!! :s

    I suppose so but the cost of running your oven all day would be expensive. Probably easier just to invest in a slow cooker - you can get them for a tenner.

    Not seen this dressing before..made a simular thing with honey balsamic vinegar and soy sauce where it stuck to the chicken
