Its not spam its just google adverts - ads that targetted based on the websites you are visiting xx

I hate the adverts on the app, especially the advert that asks if I'm pregnant! :/ Kick in the teeth much? And yes I know that ads are what keeps the site running and that it's nothing personally aimed at me, it's just not very nice to see.

I would assume you can use an ad blocker on the website but not much you can do with the app.

Right now on my iPhone app the advert is for domino pizza lol! Not exactly diet friendly. But mostly I ignore them!

But I dot mind them, minimins is a great site an they need to make money somehow as we don't pay membership

The adverts are annoying yes and although some are relevant, others certainly are not and like missy said the pregnant ones can be upsetting for some people...
