Another Alcohol question

Hey guys,

My diet has been going pretty good (lost about 15 pounds in last 3 months, not great but I am ok with it). I am currently at 6' and around 190lbs. One issue I keep running into is every other weekend my wife and I go out with our friends to the bars and spend 4-6 hours there.. The past few months I have just been doing the light beer thing and drinking 5-6 of them but those calories add up quick.

So the basic question is what drink is the better of two evils? I realize no alcohol or liquid calories is best but I am also young and want to enjoy my going out with friends years.. Should I drink something like diet coke and jack? Cranberry juice and vodka? Any other opinions?
