Any Help Please...

    I started CD on SS last Friday morning, I have not cheated at all, but I am hungry. When I test first thing in the morning I am in ketosis but as soon as I have my first shake, it knocks me out. Before I started CD I was on low carb diet and was in ketosis all the time but unfortunately as I had decided to start on CD I ate a box of chocolates my son gave me for Mother's Day the night before, thus knocking me out of ketosis. I was eating far fewer carbs on my low carb diet than I am on CD and am wondering if I will ever get into ketosis again, I need the hunger to stop... lol
    Will I also lose weight if I dont go into ketosis?

    Hi,

    Throw away the sticks!!! :)) Don't keep testing for it! It can take a while to get into ketosis and ketones in your urine don't always give a good strong reading and the amount of ketones changes when you drink more water or other fluids! Some people have lost tons of weight and never gotten a positive ketosis-test. ;)

    Please try not to worry about it!!! It should come soon,
