Greens are a type of cabbage, you could probably use a savoy cabbage or curly kale instead if you can't find any :)
 
Dammit so spinach may not do it then.....Argh may have to change dinner plans as I am 5 miles fae the shop and really don't fancy driving back :rolleyes:
 
Yes, as already said greens either refers to 'spring greens' or general greens - any dark green cabbage or kale.

As for the spinach, if you still have it tomorrow, you could find a recipe for sag aloo (potato and spinach) which is easily one of my favourite indian side dishes - would be lovely with your bhuna and rice yum yum yum :D
 
I adore "spring greens" but you could also use spinach at the last minute, just wilted. I love saag aloo, just google for a recipe.
