Hi, Just thought I would post this to see if anyone else has had this problem(s) whilst on the diet, or if it is just me?

Over the past couple of days, with increasing frequency I have been feeling dizzy, getting headaches and today have started to feel a little sick.

Will make an appointment to see my practise Nurse this week, but was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what is going on here?

OH seems to think it is the diet, and wants me to start eating again, naturally I am not keen on that idea just yet.

I occasionally feel like that if I haven't had all my packs, or enough water. You been getting all of them?

Also, Slimssea has had to go on to RTM early cos body just needed too hasn't she. I would say seeing your doctor is a good idea, and you're really close so maybe you're ready for RTM. Either way hope you're feeling better soon Corey make sure you look after yourself

Have you got milk week coming up shortly?
Just wondering if that would help give your body a break rather than stopping altogether.
You could maybe even do it early.

It could just be you are coming down with something, there are a lot of bugs and colds doing the rounds at the moment.

Am definately getting enough water (doing between 4 and 5 litres per day) and live for my packs at the moment.

I so don't want to have to start RtM unless I really have too - I am still 15 1/2 stone and want to get down to at least 14 stone before I start RtM and then hope to lose the last stone on RtM

Milk Week??? Would I do that on absitence? Our LLC has not mentioned anything about that.

It's week 13 they do it, but I chose not to. It's when you make your packs with milk instead of water and increase your intake from 500 cals to 1000cals for a week. It might be a good idea for you actually as it'll give your body a break while not knocking you out of the swing of your packs

perhaps that's something to talk to my LLC about - for us fellas though we don't follow the 14 week program, we only do 8 before going onto development (which I am doing next week).

ah yeah I forgot about that, would def ask your LLC about doing a milk week then it might really help. How are you getting along with the boredom of your packs? Think you were feeling the same as me last week sick of the same old thing. That any better?

Could you still do your packs, but maybe for a week eat something like chicken and salad and see how you feel.. as if wouldnt knock you out of ketosis..

When are you seeing your counseller next?? cos ask her/him and see what they think..

nah still bored with it, but i appreciate that it is a necessary evil to achieving a very important goal.

thanks for the advise guys, not due to see LLC until Thursday, but might send her an email tomorrow to see what she says

Don't automatically put it down to the diet. Although I had had similar symptoms before starting LL when I started feeling dizzy and sick and light headed a few weeks into the program I thought it must be the diet. It wasn't. I'm not saying you have the same problem as me, just that there might be another explanation. Hope you feel better soon

I think it's a good idea to see your nurse, get your bp checked etc. This does sound similar to how Slim is feeling, she's gone onto RTM but I can understand your not wanting to yet.

The milk week thing - well if you think about it at the rate that you men lose weight you lose more in your few weeks than we do by week 11 when MW is - might be worth you giving that a shot and getting some extra vitamins and minerals into your body --- think you're doing right by emailing your LLC rather than waiting to see her at class.

Im always dizzy lately and feel so so tired and drained all the time.
I think my body needs a break too. Im on day 78 now- Think i will take a short break in between foundation and development(just a couple of days) to pick me up again.
my body is tired and needs a rest !! :) hehe.
Wont be long corey- stick with it. I know how u feel xxxxxx

Hey Corey,

Sounds very similar to what I have been suffering from for the last 2 weeks! I started RTM last Wednesday! i know you stated that ur not ready to start RTM just yet, but please listen to your body! Its really not worth it honestly. I suffered from constant dizzy spells (as if the ground was moving), constant headaches, eyes felt funny and i wasn't losing hardly any weight (even when i was 200% focused on the diet). That just showed that my body has had enough!

I am working really hard concentrating on RTM and want to still lose around 2 st, but will now do this gradually!

Please consult your Doctor and LLC immediately, don't take any risk, it's not worth it!

Hi guys,

I emailed Maggie (my LLC) yesterday, still waiting for a reply. I have an appointment with the Dr this afternoon at 4:30.

Let me tell you, it's a really bizarre feeling when you're infront of a computer and the screen seems to be going from side to side!

I will let you know how I get on.
