Hi there im new to this site but def not new to dieting just wondered if any of you have young babies? My son is 7 months old & im struggling to shift the weight as my appetite still seem to be huge,any tips?

Yes my boy is three months. I started slimming world on Friday. I am having to keep eating free foods, snacking all day as I am constantly hungry. If you are breastfeeding you get more HEA and HEB which is handy, but still not enough for me ha!

Hi, I started slimming world when my youngest was 8 months old. I found I had to eat large portions of food and keep lots of superfree and free foods to hand. I also always used the full 15 syns. After a couple of months my appetite reduced and the snacking stopped. That's the great thing about SW, you can still eat a lot of food to satisfy you. Good luck on your journey.

im not breastfeeding unfortunately,heres hoping the hunger subsides soon,I lost weight when pregnant with my daughter but my 2 boys I just got out of control lol

I am up at 4am too as he doesn't like to sleep ha which isn't helping as by lunchtime im ravenous

I'm restarting SW shortly after a bit of a break, I have a three week old son and I put back on 3 stone of the 5.5 stone I had previously lost on SW while I was pregnant with him.

I'm looking forward to getting back on it but I know it'll be hard, have managed to get myself into some bad eating habits and I'm also starving hungry all the time as I'm breastfeeding!

I'm sure we can all do it though - good luck ladies! xxx

aww 3 weeks old congratulations I had lost 3 1/2 stone before I got pregnant & put nearly 5 on ouch! Lost some quite quickly but the rest is going to take me a good few months,im thinking about running around after him in the summer when hes on his feet so that's motivating me a bit as don't want to be a sweaty mess lol & have 2 older children & school runs etc.. Goodluck I wish I started straight after he was born but my head has just not been in the right mindset xx

I have a 10 week old baby. I found I wasn't hungry much, I was just grabbing what I could, which was bad for me. I'm starting to get more hungry now as i'm making sure I have breakfast. I'm just trying to make sure I have lots of free food in the house. Good luck, we can do it! xx

Goodluck Tinks,I grab bad things too stuff that I have in the house for older kids & hubby,time to stop buying it really,im not going to be their favourite person but its best for ereryone lol x

Hi, I've just rejoined slimming world, and I have a 7 month old daughter.

I last joined SW when my 4 year old was 9 months, and managed to lose over 3 stone, so I hoping that I can do the same again now.
I found filling up on free/super free food was the best thing for me to do, and trying to get out more with the pushchair instead of using the car. Good luck xx

I get out and about with the pushchair 3 or 4 times a day,2 school runs & a forced walk lol been feeling quite anxious being out walking because of the weight but I know this will get better as my confidence comes back x

Yes I most certainly was, it was an experience, I was massive!!

I know what you mean about feeling self conscious when walking with the pram, I feel exactly the same but I'm trying to use it as motivation to keep going! xx

it can only get better I guess,im just glad its winter so I can still wear layers,by babbas first bday I will be able to get my arms out hopefully

Hi I have a 7 month old little boy too. I found that where I thought I had a big appetite was purely down to me skipping meals and then smacking all day. Now that he is in a routine now I make sure I eat a proper breakfast lunch and tea and have found this has curbed any unnecessary snacking

My daughter is almost 8 months old and from the day I went into labour I'm down 3st 1lb. I joined back at slimming world when she was 10 weeks. I could have been at target now but I was enjoying all the lunchtimes out with my friends so it's been scenic!

Lol I know. I'm just going to try and make sure there's lots of easy to grab things, so I can eat that instead of the naughty stuff. X
