Any one got a recipe for low point dumplings please.

As the weather has gone grotty and really cold here I have got my slow cooker out and was going to do a stew tomorrow with loads of veggies and stuff but our family can't have stew without dumplings. Anyone got any idea how to make low point ones. Thanks.
