Any good tips for weight loss?

Background info: Two years ago I made the decision to finally bite the bullet & lose weight. I lost weight, but fell off the wagon and now for the past two weeks have been steadily getting back to my diet. I started at 175, now I'm at 160. I still have some belly fat though.

My routine diet is usually a bowl of ceral(fruit loops or cherrios) for breakfast. A lean hot pocket for lunch and a chicken sandwich for dinner. I try to include some fruit, such as peaches or apple sauce in the middle of the day. I try to eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day.

I also try to walk for 15-40 minutes a day If I have the time.

What do you think to loose extra weight? only exercise is enough? what do you people think to take a weight loss pill to loose extra weight?
