Anybody in london

I guys just wondered if any of you guys n gals use the other sections on mins I have been having a browse n found the meet up and social events section but..... It's quite dead over there

I often find like minded people to chat to on here n make contacts n online friends but would be nice to see if anybody was local etc

I use to be on another section on Minimins and met some fab people, I flew to Manchester to meet up with them and had one of the best weekends EVER, have some lovely genuine friends now from it

Hi cupcake - that's nice n I think totally achievable I think sometimes we get so caught up with the day to day manic rush we forget to socialise n us Londoners are known for not being too friendly lol obviously an untrue sweeping generalisation but as I watch my 6 year old randomly go up to another 6 year old n within minutes they are laughing n holding hands I find myself thinking hhmmmm why can't it be that easy for us grown ups

Almost a year, some weeks I mess about others I follow it 100% I don't stress out over it very often and am just taking it in my stride! I've already lost 4 stone and over 1st of that is with SW

Aw that's a lovely thing to say jilly I'm not right in the city I'm in south east London lived in London or near by all my life so kinda take it for granted I guess but such a busy lively city yet so hard to find new local friends

Hiya, I'm North London...I do sw at home & support from these guys on here. Last year I lost 1.5 stones...since then I've been faffing about as had some probs indoors.

I've stay around the same weight luckily but decided last week enough is enough & I've been 100% & lost 4lbs...so I believe I'm back on track now. Although today my patience has been pushed as my 3 year old really playing me up. I nearly grabbed a pizza & biscuits but was strong & said no.

Anyway that's my story, welcome & good luck xx

I live in Bournville, wonderful community spirit here and suits me really well but I love visiting London.

Had a boyfriend who had a flat in covent garden (overlooking the Mousetrap theatre) in the late 80's. The boyfriend has long gone but the love affair with the city remains.

Am visiting for my wedding anniversary next month. Posh hotel and Lion king show. Cant wait
