I need you all to kick my bum, no exercise done this wkend! * week on monday & working odd hours all week, so prob not a good time to start, but from next week or this weekend coming im going to have to make myself exercise! Wish i had more willpower

Can't you just do a bit extra doggie walking megs,I'm sure your doggy wouldn't mind and it takes the pressure off of you thinking "oh my god I need to exercise".
I do so much walking during the day that I class that all as exercise,but am thinking of getting a kettle ball to try and start to tone areas up. :)

Thats true i'm sure Callie wouldn't mind & if she objects i'll just get some doggy rollerskates or a skateboard lol.
Yes thats maybe the way i need to look at it: being more active, taking the stairs, bit longer doggy walks, getting off the bus a few stops early, bit more oomph when doing the cleaning etc.
Hopefully that'll help making something i'm doing anyway into exercise rather than panicking about actual exercise session, thanks Tracy :D xx

I kno. Very proud. My bf had Belgian chic Haagen daas n I skipped. He had m&m's n I had a luckle few but not half the pack that I'd usually have :) was well chuffed

How are you all doing? I'm still on plan, not finding it easy, but still on plan all the same. Really hoping for a lose this week even if its just 1lb.

Hi HP, good for you staying on plan, i'm not finding it easy this week, but still clinging on, changed times for me * week used to be at least 4 days off the rails, but not anymore.
My neighbour has switched from SW to another plan run by a local lady, i met her for coffee & her guidelines are super strict! As i walked Callie back home & then tucked into a wee Malteser easter bunny for todays syns, i was thinking i'm so glad i can stretch SW on days i need to. Super strict diets are over for me, it's healthy eating with small frequent treats all the way :D
 
Yep i agree on that. Although I lost 2 stone before (started off quite healthy just cutting down and walking to work) but as it stopped coming off I started restricting my diet more and more .... And losing no weight, but was ill all the time - colds, flu, tonsilitus every week. After I ended up in hospital and had blood tests I decided enough was enough u just can't restrict urself like that - as not only is it bad for ur health but the moment u eat semi normal again it piles on quickly. I hve been doing slimming world for about 6 weeks now and haven't been ill have felt full of life and steadily losin weight (well if u cancel Christmas out lol). So proof that slimming world is not just a diet it's a healthy lifestyle u can easily carry on forever! My best friend is a midwife and says they don't recommend "diets" while pregnant but they actually encourage expectant mums to follow the slimming world plan as it encourages a healthy diet and lots of food.
 
Yea the likes of slimming world n weight watchers promotes eating fresh foods, fruit & veg... its all about portion control.. n they both strongly recommend eating a balanced meal, meat (protein), carbs n veg.. all good stuff :D
 
Hiya sorry not been on for 2 days, busy sorting out the house in between working.

Monday nights dinner- minted lamb chops, stuffed mushrooms, jacket potato n mashed swede.

Yesterday I wrestled with a pack of chocolate digestives and they beat the hell out of me so I submitted, let them march all over me, shouting at me and bossing me about. Then I caught them unawares and ate half of their army shutting them up. Oh dear that's not good!
Last nights dinner - spaghetti bolognese done in the slow cooker in honour of our dubby.

This mornings breakfast was to be my usual poached eggs on toast but the fussy old hens had not obliged with their egg laying so eggs officially off the menu and the girls got a serious talking to.
So, plan b was a green day and 2 slices of beans on toast with lower fat cheese melted on top. Yum

Lunch was a pear and 3 bananas whilst working in the clinic.
Dinner was pasta carbonara my style, made with Philly garlic n herbs, chopped ham and chilli flakes.

Mullerlight for afters. Then to stop the cravings I'll be off to bed early.

I lost 2.5lbs this wek. 7.5lbs since joining the forum 21st December 2011. Now I am 15st 6lbs.


yippeeedooodah girls thats fab. well done REALLY well done.

now, i dont usually do 'halves' but im going to embrace the half a pound i lost this week because its a step in the right direction and it makes me feel better about the half a packet of choccie biccies and their cousin the pringles - YES YES i know i didnt fess up to the pringles the night before but im a closet eater ( if its in the closet - i'll eat it)

so............. thats still the same weight for me cos last week i was 13st 7 + 3/4lbs , now im 13st 7+1/4lb so for the benefit of me i'll be back to not measuring half pounds next weigh in cos there is no way im falling foul to those nasty herberts hiding in the cupboard.

totals then so far for today;

pebbles 0.5lbs lost now 13st 7 1/4 :sigh:;)
tracy 2lbs lost now 16st 11 :p:)
flowery 2.5lbs lost now 15st 6 ;):D
