I need some inspiration for packed lunches - I don't know what I'll have access to, because I don't know what facilities are there so I have to be independent!!

Hey Smurfy, welcome back xx
I usually do a pasta salad or maybe a salad for lunch. Some days it's a sandwich with a mugshot.
I don't know if you have access to a microwave but i like to take Oats so Simple or Weetabix for my early tea break.
Baked potato is good as i would eat cold with salad or warmed up.
Or if i'm stuck a smaller portion of the night befores dinner always does the trick.
Good luck with the menu planning, you're back now so that's the main thing! :)

SW fry up, perfect fuel after a tidy wee 5 mile run with the hubby! :D

Smurf I always always dish up a small portion of dinner in a lunch box and take it for work the next day. The week nights if I eat out I always have spare low fat super noodles, syn free ravioli, or mug shots handy for work the next day.

I remember my first day of work I didn't know what facilities they'd have so I took tuna pasta and sweetcorn.

Definitely Laura! Plus it really confuses non SW people to see me eat a "fry" or a chocolate bar & still maintain my weight ;)
Hour & a half blitzing the housework, so think a lazy dvd night is called for with a wee drink for good measure.
Need the relaxation, on Monday the workmen arrive for 6 weeks of renovation on our house to turn it into a property worthy of the title "family home"
Thankfully after 1 week i will be off on honeymoon for 3 weeks & the remaining 2 weeks we are staying in hubbys house which he will put on the market once our family home is ready :)

All sounds very exciting! I see I missed your wedding when I went AWOL. Congratulations! When was the big day? Where are you going for your honeymoon? Your prof pic looks lovely.

I always confuse my friends with my fry ups too, and when I'm sat at work eating last nights chilli!

That's the best kind of motivation to have, those few lbs are history! Think of the new bikinis ;)
I'm a lazy sofa lounger today, my sister & family are still here from the wedding, they fly home on Monday, so i'll do something with my sis tonight as i only see her in person a few times a year.

New passport arrived! Woohoo xx
Big food shop done this evening, managed to forget the bananas & broccolli (sieve head!!).
Now for a super quick dinner, i'm thinking pasta :) i'm so lazy (bad wifey) lol.
Off to Pilates at 8, Happy Monday guys xx

Dinner- broccoli / cauliflower, asparagus, (green light) garlic mushrooms and tomato ( red light) steak with peppercorn sauce, sweet potato chips ( amber light) and sw onion rings.

SW ONION RINGS
Put a packet of smash into a bowl and mix with spices like paprika and salt and garlic or herbs. I used a tsp paprika, a big pinch of mixed herbs, a tsp salt, tsp garlic granules, black pepper . Cut onions into rings. Dip into egg then smash then put on tray in oven. spray fry light on tray. 200 degrees for about 15 mins or until brown and crispy.

Morning morning, last nights dinner- swede topped cottage pie with chopped toms(red light) carrots (amber) broccoli (green).

Lunch was a wrap with ham ( pink light!!!!!) tomatoes (phew red light) cheese (amber)
Spring onion (green light)

Breakfast I fail on miserably as I have it at work in my surgery and it's always muesli yog and fruit so I manage the amber - banana and sometimes raspberries or melon but I don't usually have all 3 in stock lol.
How's everyone else doing with the traffic challenge??

I'm doing PANTS... I'll hve been lucky if I've gotten them in one per meal never mind all three in each meal.. bar having home chicken curry the other night I s'pose.. It had tinned tomatoes, carrots, peas in so got all three :D
Oh.. And I had a bagel with rocket, tomatoes, cheese for lunch one day... Wohoo.. I got 2 meals.. ha ha

I'm not doing well at all on the traffic light... Have had a funny week because we were house hunting and found one we loved then had to wait if we got it now been trying to sort out previous landlord references etc so I've been all over te place! I've managed to stick to the basics of SW, just not traffic lights :(
