Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

Your dinner sounded and looked lovely pebbles! We ended up going to a local pub and sat in the beer garden with a big plate of lean meats and salad, was so scrummy!
Its my wi tomorrow so today I am trying to to wean off the food a bit! Had a muller light yogurt so far, do have some savoury rice for lunch, for tea though stuffed chicken with mash and veg! How is everyone today? I have been looking for a dress for Saturday night and found a hire website and the most gorgeous dress so makes me want to be super good! Xx

So today my lovely losers, is 'fridge day' yes today is the day the new American fridge arrives, the all singing, all dancing, crushed ice , cubed ice or cold water delivering fridge to help me with my fluid intake. So I am very excited , the kitchen is all ready to greet her as we wait with baited breath. And we wait..........and we wait and still she doesn't arrive, past breakfast and past lunch, oh damn and I needed to go shopping, and collect a prescription and get school shoes from clarks arrrggggh ! Could have done sooo much today.

Well, whilst STILL waiting I made :

breakfast - baked bean, mushroom And cheese omelette (1/2 hea, ) small milky coffee (1/2 hea)
Lunch - Curried parsnip soup (free)
Dinner - Roasted veg, parsnips , potatoes, carrots, and minted lamb chops.


SPICY PARSNIP SOUP
---------------------------
Serves 2 syn free

340g parsnips diced
1 onion chopped
1 garlic clove crushed
Fry light
1tbsp curry powder
1 tsp each - cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger
1 pint of water and a chicken stockpot
Salt and pepper


Spray pan and cook onions, until softened, add garlic and powdered spices and cook for 3 mins. Add a little of the water for stock if needed. Add parsnips, water and stockpot , bring to boil then simmer until parsnip cooked.
Blitz and add more hot water if required. Very tasty

Hi all hope u are all well,thanks Pebs for the recipes they look gorgeous i will be making them for sure , i need to get my weight down fast as i have a invite to a christening on the 5th may ,and i can never buy anything nice that fits me properly so any ideas plzs , thanks to u all and good luck
 
I'm off to a black tie do, where all practical franchises meet, during the day is a conference and then dinner dance! But I have left it so last minute! Found a website called wishwantwear, hol always shows stuff from there on his show, I didn't want to buy anything as hopefully this time next year I won't be a 16!!
Tonight I am now doing a chicken and butternut squash risotto! I change my mind a lot, can you tell? Haha. I'll post recipe and take a pic when served!

I really want an American fridge but we have no space :( I have got everything for our new house from eBay! I'm like an eBay queen!

I run a car and van rental company and everyone hires to get there eBay bargains! One couple today went to pick up there entire kitchen they brought!

So this is my risotto looks horrible but tastes amaze!
Recipe-
Cook chicken in saucepan along with onions (I usually add bacon but didn't have any :()
Then add risotto rice along with garlic cook this on med heat until rice is kind of see through, then add some white wine (I used rose today as all I had!) boil it until all evaporated.
Then slowly add chicken stock, keep adding until all is used up (I use 2 knorr stock pots made up)

That is terribly written! No where near as good as pebbles! Oh I forgot the Parmesan!!! At the end add a little Parmesan and pepper :)

That looks really nice bean, I love squash and I love risotto so it gets a thumbs up from me . Well done the first to complete challenge number 1.

I am an eBay lover too. Got my range cooker on there for an absolute bargain. Also my washing machine, 3 months old, lady was emigrating suddenly after refurbishing her house.


Well eventually my fridge arrived. Wouldn't fit through front door, so they tried side alley- no!
So in the end we had to ask to use the neighbours rear gate and then remove one of my fence panels - nightmare. But she's in now and she's beautiful, just can't switch her on for 12 hrs , so the contents of my old fridge ( they took that away) are on my kitchen table ! Just as well I didn't go shopping.

Thought I'd show her off .................

It's annoying how they stipulate certain brands, I have some sainsburys ones in the freezer, I'm going to compare nutritional info on them. Hate buying when I already have stuff!

I think it's mainly the fibre amount that's important big they're similar enough I'd take it as free. It does say in the book alternative brands can b used (not sure if that's just on cereals)
 
After playing with my fridge until the small hours, I fell into bed and then didn't get much sleep , up again for work but only my half day .

Breakfast I had a milky coffee (1hea)

So I left work and went to asda , well you would wouldn't you if you had a new fridge ! I spent an hour and a half in there and too much money but I'm not shopping again for at least 7 months cos the fridge and now both freezers are full.
Lunch - a tomato pasta snack pot from chilled section in asda

Then into town after the school run to get miss flipflop ( daughter) a pair of school shoes. Even that didn't go smoothly and cost me a large proportion of my shopping value.!!

Back home and a friend of mine, who's husband has just been made redundant , text to say he's feeling a bit down so would we like to meet for a pub meal (Wetherspoons) .
Now I just know you're all gonna be soooooooo proud of captain pebster . So I cooked the other half his dinner and sent him off to work at 7pm. Then we went to the local Wetherspoons, the kids had nachos and chicken strips. I had 2 nachos as they had fresh chilli on them and no way was she eating them! They also had fried chicken strips which I steered clear of. I had a diet coke whilst watching the others eat. Then when we got back I shot in the kitchen and made king prawn Szechuan with noodles ( blue dragon sauce =3 syns)

Had it with half a pack of prawn crackers (5 syns)



Just need to plan the rest of the week .
So today - 1hea, 1 heb, syns 8

Ta dubby, I hope it lasts a bit longer this time. I'm on for a good loss as its week 1 of back to plan . Day 6 and I'm still feeling good . I'm in love too which always helps with the loss , I can't leave my fridge alone it's a match made in heaven , we were destined to be together. We both have so much in common (food mainly) and it was definitely love at first sight .

Today I'm off to work. University students first then older patients this afternoon. Back at 5 with an update . Plan is cereal for breakfast , cheese onion mayo sarnie for lunch and still working on dinner . Have a great Wednesday gang .

Morning lovelies!

I have got a slight addiction with rocky bars!! I had 4 yesterday! As my hea 1 and 2! They are sooo good!

Today's plan is-
B- eggs on toast (heb)
L- left over mince with tomatoes with some lettuce
D- chicken roast dinner with just veg and butter nut squash mash. Gravy (1syn)

Hea- skimmed milk
Heb 2- hifi bar
1.5 syns sugar

I have decided to do red days for next 3 as I want to feel less bloated for sat night. I have ordered a million dresses! I have a size 16 French connection dress being delivered today, not sure it will for but have my fingers crossed!!
