Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

Morning!! Morning morning you lovely losers .


Posting here from my 6 monthly spa weekend with my best friend . I'm glad to say I arrived here yesterday with a 2.5lb loss in the bag so I'm hoping the damage here is minimal .

I had a beef and horseradish sandwich for lunch yesterday with some salad and a small bowl of chips to share .

Dinner was pre dinner mojito cocktail
Scallops ( my favourite)
Fillet steak with Madeira gravy , mash and veg
Plum pudding with ice cream and toffee sauce

Anyone drooling yet?

So I'm coming home sadly today having had a great time .
Menu planning as soon as I'm back xx
 
Morning ladies..
Had a very bold day yesterday...
So got the SW books with me and I WILL have a better week...
Friday for dinner we KFC... And last night had chinese... So won't take much to do better but there you go...
Didn't have much fruit in this morning gona order a fruit salad for delivery for after lunch and have a banana with me..
So food plan is:
Brekkie: Porridge, made with water (only way I like it)
Lunch: Ham and cheese toastie
Snack: Banana. Fresh fruit salad.
Dinner: Left over shoulder of bacon, SW roasties, veg and possibly bisto gravy..

Mine was a bit all over the place to be honest !!!!
It was a bit busy as my daughter and her boyfriend moved in two doors along from us on Saturday,so hubby and older son were moving them in,and it was just me and the two Littles for most of the weekend !!
Did make sw onion bhajis on Saturday and low fat /low Cal samosas to go with the curry I made.
The bhajis looked a bit weird but actually tasted like the really thing :)
I am trying to be a bit better this week,need to organise more !!!!!!!

I'm back to the routine of school runs and work , no more massages and lounging around for me . I gained a bit over the weekend (2lb) but am hoping that'll be gone by tomorrow as I hit the ground running with a lettuce under one arm and a pack of scan bran under the other . Some more Nice winter warmers coming your way again later today with a carrot soup and a Spanish sausage and bean stew .xx
 
I could do with a massage and lounging around! Had a poorly baby all weekend who is currently nodding off, at last!! So I am enjoying my first glass of water of the day and a banana! Somehow managed to still eat within plan and had a sneaky peak this morning (slaps hand) but so far seem to have lost my blip gain! Fingers crossed it stays the same or goes down again by Thursday!

Ps dubs can I come to yours for tea it sounds delicious! X

ooh that sounds nice tracy , which recipe did you use for the bhajis/ i only used the SW curry book one before, but i know there are lots about.

Yeah pebs I used the one from the sw curry book too,and just added a bit more spice to it.
I won't tell you that they looked like piles of dog ***,was a bit off putting,but were really nice,and I made a raita out of fat free fromage frais and a spoon of mint sauce ! Xx

Food plan for today...
HeA: Milk through the day...
Brekkie: 35g porridge (HeB). Cup of black tea.
Lunch: Homemade leek & potato soup. Homemade fresh fruit salad
Dinner: TBC
Snacks: Banana
Need to add in another HeA & B. Have a slice of wholemeal (800g loaf) bread with me so might have that with my soup.. Will update if I do..

I was on plan right up to about 10.30 last night when I got back from an impromtu outing to asda,with daughter and boyfriend !!!!!
Then I are 2 toast with peanut butter and Jam:confused:
Am on the bus home from town at moment,so brekkie has been an americano at Costa,will have chance for something quick when I get in,as have to leave for work at 11.30(still weird to say that ),and I am helping in reception class after that,but have enchiladas prepared for dinner,with some salad and low fat chips .

I was on plan last night too til I got bad news and my friend popped down to mind me.. Then I had a penguin bar and a bramley apple cake thing :(
My friend (not the one that popped down) found out at her 12 week scan yesterday that she'd lost the baby :(

My daughter had a miscarriage at 8 Weeks about 2 months ago .:(

oh my god, hugs coming over to both of you, how sad . ive been there too and its awful.

i have no excuse for my outburst or should i say inburst !!
my best friend had some very sad news and i felt so sad for her and thought- what the hell am i worrying about food for theres more to life than dieting. so i cuddled up to my little one and we sat and felt sad and ate chocolate and watched tv together then i too had peanut butter on toast tracy.

but then you wake the next day and think but hang on im doing this healthy eating lark because i am unfit - my BMI is way too high , im breathless walking up stairs and actually im shortening my life. so i am kidding myself thinking theres more to life cos if i dont do something i wont have a long life- end of self lecture!

so tuesday dawns and im at work until 530.
last night i made carrot swede, coriander and ginger soup for work today.
i also made tonights dinner which is the hairy bikers skinny lasagne made with leeks instead of lasagne sheets, its based on their recipe but 'Pete' of slimming world fame has adapted it. i then kinda went on both. ill post picture later when its cooked but it smelt and looked very nice. not sure the kids will like it as they discover the leeks, but we will see.

yesterdays meals -

breakfast - milky coffee (1hea) banana and a black coffee

lunch - mushroom, spring onion, tomato, and cheese toastie (1heb, 3 syns)
cheese n onion french fries (4 syns)

dinner - beautiful! spanish sausage and bean stew & mash -yummy yummy really tasty.
i adapted a recipe to make it SW friendly and i thoroughly recommend it.

for pudding we had apple batter pudding - delicious hot or cold, and only 6.5 syns per serving.
