My friends only found out on thursday, by letter I think

had an interview with kernesa on monday, the way i understood it was that everyone who had been shortlisted would be notified by letter and that they wouldn't be cutting the list again. So i took it that if you have oficially been shortlisted then you are in the final so to speak, they don't make the final decision until a couple of days before the conference.
