I have a syn box that only has low syn treats in (nothing over 5 syns) They all have the syns written on them to remind me. It helps that I know, even if I've had my 15 for the day, Im not going to blow it by eating a freddo bar, hot chocolate or a bag of wotsits out of the box. I also feel like I'm not missing out on the family treat cupboard (the kids both of their own boxes)
I think it could be dangerous saying you CAN eat the whole box as then its like setting yourself a goal to get through the box within the week and that becomes your goal rather than listening to what your body is really telling you or identifying WHY you feel like snacking. Yeah you might just want a snack but if youre eating 80 syns worth of chocolate a week I would say there is possibly another problem that needs addressing.
Also you dont HAVE to eat all of your 15 syns each day it is between 5-15. I just think this is setting you up to over eat.
I go over my syns a lot of the time so was hoping it could be a solution to staying within my syns x
I don't do that, but its worth a try, seems like a good plan.
