anyone self employed please

just wondered if anyone is self employed, im just about to start training as a sw consultant and wondered about self employment ive looked in the internet and got a bit lost with all the links so what do i do next does anyone have any links please or thoughts

I don't have any practical advice, having never been self employed, but why not try posting in the SW/WW areas, see if anybody who is a self-employed counselor can help you? I think mainly you have to declare you're self employed and then work out your own taxes each year.
