Yes - I agree with the above;)

Don't forget to throw some parsnips in too!

Thank you both! Will give it a go :)

I just love my actifry!!! I use both Frylight and oil, depends what I am cooking. My favourite dish is Rosemary roast potatoes and chunky carrots. Just throw them in together, add the Frylight and 35 mins later they are ready to eat!

I know this is an old post but does anyone know how many syns it is for the oil to cook the standard amount of chips in the actifry? x

I always use the 1 spoonful of extra virgin olive oil as a HEXB. It is 14ml - I imagine if used as a syn, it might be 6 syns for the 14ml?

Spray/frylight of course would be free.

I wash my potatoes and peel them thicker than usual, I rinse the peel and keep it to make "Skins" for supper and use the rest for Chips. I do agree about using proper oil for a much better chip. I put my sausages in the Actifry without any oil at all and cook them that way, they do not take very long to cook so keep an eye on them, if you have something delicate to cook, i.e. fish fingers, take out the paddle and turn them over after a little while, delicious.

i make a lovely chili con carne in mine, it's not just for chips, x
