Asda smartprice chilli con carne

Just been looking at the syns online for inspiration and found that the smartprice chilli con carne is only 1 syn the whole can on EE or Red
anyone tried it??

Yeah I had it two nights ago, its not bad acually. Does need bulking out a bit with extra onions, cherry toms and beans of some kind otherwise its a little gloopy without anything extra.

i always worry what meats are in there seeing as its so cheap.im really fussy

Thanks for letting us know. I haven't tried it but will buy some for the cupboard. I sometimes struggle on red days if I'm not prepared enough with fresh meat so this will be perfect, not to mention cheap!

I used to have a tin of CCC mixed in with tin of sweetcorn, tin carrots, tin peas. Bung that in a ovenproof dish then top with potato and if available, a B choice of cheese.... bake - YUMMY!!!!
