How many pounds are you losing on average per week? (Total pounds lost divided by number of weeks)

And how much are you losing in percentage terms.

i.e If you weighed 200lbs the first week and lost 20lbs that's 10%, then you weigh 190lbs and lose 5lbs the next week then that's 2.6%. (lbs lost divided by weight times 100, (5/190)x100 = 2.6% )

Oh I forgot to work out mine...

8.3lbs per week average (but I am guessing that will go down as time goes on as a lot of that is the initial week)

Week 1: 4.39%
Week 2: 1.77%
Week 3: 2.52%

No, yikes, maths, that's too hard, miss. I can do the average bit but could never do percentages (or fractions, come to that)

Unofficially I have lost 30lb (yay!) in 7 weeks....4.28lb per week.

Last official WI was week 5, where I was at 24lb, so that's 4.8lb per week. But appear to be 6lb down since then.

I did the percentages (slowly, and with frequent ref to Guru's formula)

Week 1 - 5.3%
Week 2 - 2.5%
Week 3 - 0.5%
Week 4 - 1.6%
Week 5 - 2.1%
Week 6 - 1.1%
Week 7 (unofficial so far) - 2.2%

I think the percentages are really interesting and probably a better indication than the figure in pounds.

Sorry to make it a maths GCSE question though LOL

How do I find out what total % of my original weight I have lost?

It says in your details at the side Liz - 12.44%
