#1
Hi everyone

Just wanting your views on something, its my birthday next wed (19th) and on the fri im going to Liverpool for the weekend with the girls which im really lookin forward to but i really don’t wanna gain while im away, my flight isn’t until 745 on the fri night and im home at 7am on the Sunday morning so technically Saturday is the only day where i wont be able to food optimise 100%,i am going to try and be as good as i can, although i will be drinkin (alot!!) im gonna try not to go mad with food, but on the sat night we are booked into Jamie carraghers restaurant for a nice meal and since its my birthday im gonna have something i really fancy, do u think this will jeopardise my weight loss? To be honest im not overly worried at the effect the alcohol will have on my weight as to be honest im quite lucky and drink doesn’t tend to affect me weight think its bcuz i only drink when i go out and its not every single weekend..
Really dunno wat to do for the best?? I hope u can help me lol xxx

At the end of the day thats what flexi syns are for, you can either put a cap on it for like 80 for the$ day so you know exactly how many you've had or you can just write the day off and enjoy it, TBH one day out of a week isn't going to make a massive difference, and if you're worried you can always reduce your syns leading upto it and between then and weighing, this is the advice my old C would have given us.

i think i will just write the day off and enjoy it chic, my consultant wud say the same and she always said one bad day doesnt make a bad week :) i think i wil reduce my syns to around 5 a day before and after and eat lot of free & superfree too :) it is my birthday after all and i am away for the weekend so im goin to enjoy it :) we all still have to live :) also just realised that star week is due that week to and if i do end up gainin it cud be due to that xxx

Hiya,

I live near Liverpool too, if you wanted a healthy lunch on the Saturday there is actually a sandwich bar on Castle Street which does Slimming World Sandwiches/pasta etc and has the points on them, it's called Skinnilaminx, I don't think I am allowed to post the link but if you Google "Skinnilaminx Castle Street Liverpool" it should bring it up for you.

Have fun, Liverpool is a fab place!!

As it's your Birthday I would have a flexi-day keep low syn until you go away then enjoy your Birthday meal. Choose your meal wisely though, some foods can be so high in syn but you could still enjoy a low syn meal & still lose weight.
After the weekend away get straight back on plan and have plenty of speed and super speed foods to boost your weightloss.
xxx
